~ We don't like to travel alone, so we hope you'll come along with us as we travel down memory lane... And who knows, we might possibly learn a little trivia along the way!
I did have a couple cheap knockoffs of Swatch watches back in the 1980’s. I had 2 of them. I even paid $10.00 each on them at Venture store. I even had a pair of leg warmers when I was cross country skiing when I was 11 years old. Even having an alligator on a polo shirts that I used to wear.
~ Makes me think of my in-laws as our was a hand-me-down from them & it makes me think the friends who I had left the blender at their house, after a night of "mixed drink" shenanigans (and I never got it back!).
I recognized Rosetta LeNoire the second I saw her. I didn’t even need to see the clues. Leslie Jordan, I’m kicking myself for because I spent the entire commercial trying to figure out who the guy in the bed was and not the other two people, lol
Wow! I never knew the alliance was such a good car. It's a shame they put too much into advertising, marketing, etc. I don't remember that commercial, but boy did they waste money. All the other cars were cool. I had a used Chevy Caprice classic. It was a pretty good car. Good video!
So, we had 3 channels. I was a kid in the 70s. And I only vaguely remember a couple of these, Was this NBC ABC or CBS? Alot of our Entertainment was local as well.
I’ve never had Devil’s Food Squares, Suddenly S’mores, Mother’s Cookies, or Flavorkist. Everything else has been in my school lunch at some point. I can still taste Fig and Apple Newtons, despite not having them in over thirty years. I also remember like a berry one in a pink wrapper. I remember having them at summer camp in my cooler with an ice pack and having them be really cold, hard, and kind of gummy, lol Hydrox were the cookies my dad bought whenever the Oreos weren’t on sale. They weren’t terrible, but you could definitely tell the difference, lol
I was born in 1985, so I’ve never heard of most of these shows. However, there was a Saturday morning block on The Family Channel in the mid to late ‘90s called “The World of Sid and Marty Krofft” where they showed reruns of The Bugaloos, Lidsville, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and H.R. Puffnstuff. So I recognized The Bugaloos right away. Joy was my favorite, lol
