Funny part jarre can compose due to his dad being a classical taught musician and himself having to do with such music but he never played those leads himself other people did for him. Good idea maker but not a good keyboard player
i have sheet music with the same nots but i am still not sure if the the first F chord is not an but fingered F A C and the fitst C fingered E G C cause the way you play it from the start leaves a strange descending mood. Cant explain it better.
Really love this video, can anyone help to identify what drums are used to accompany the machine run pack, it can’t be heard in this video but will be heard on the dock land revolution part 1. Can see how to play these songs all over the net but not one video to explain how to re create the drum patter used. Any info would be great. Thank you.
Machine Run is the loop (from the Geerdes Volume 1 card), Orchester Philamon is the string patch from the PA-Decoder Vol. 1b card and Griittarr 2 is the lead from Roland PN No1 Card. A majority of Revolutions is D50 presets from various Cards including the stock Roland cards. Pretty crazy.
@@starzzy_live there is a D50 VST by Roland on their Roland cloud. They have the sounds of the first 4 stock Roland D50 cards that has some sounds he used on Revolutions, but not all of these various card sounds. I’ve got a sysex file with most of these patches for the D50. It works on the VST D50 as well. I think someone made a Kontakt sample library with a bunch of Jarre D50 sounds. Not sure if it got shut down, since the maker of the library doesn’t technically own the sounds. So it’s probs illegal for him to own em. You could do a google search and see if they’re still around?
@@starzzy_live the Roland cloud has a D50 vst that is spot on. It included the 4 Roland expansion cards that have “some” of these sounds. There are a couple sites that have a sysex file of most of the Jarre D50 presets he used. Just do a google search for Jarre d50 presets sysex and something should pop up. I did see a Kontakt library a while back with a bunch of these presets, but I’m not sure if it’s still available since it’s really illegal for someone to sell presets from a D50 and those wave forms as their own library for profit.
