@@Laurent312 nope we don’t, we have a flap on the radiator with a handle on it, when engine gets too hot I open it when it gets cold I keep the flap closed
First time I've seen this style of not downshifting while braking and doing it all in one go before the entry. And short gearing to go with, hampering the top speed. Love these DEA mono 250cc engines, very much prefer these karts to the twins.
This reminds me of my karting days, in a much lower power class. Everything vibrated like crazy and you had to decide whether to fix components rigidly to the frame, or dampen the vibrations with rubber, springs, etc. Karts are so much fun to drive. I flipped one once and was lucky that I didn't break my neck. I still have the scar.
Hello Luke, That was one hell of a ride up around the 4 minute or so mark when the blue kart just blasted you then the you had to deal with that nut in the #0 white Kart that was all over the track , where he learned how to pick his line is beyond me & they should have tossed the flag at him he was all over the place & i could see you had the speed on him but he just kept moving over to the point where it became blocking more than racing. Glad you at least got him before he disappeared . Great drive as these Superkarts are a handful as they were when i raced my Laydown Kart & we had folks just like him only we had full bodywork where you don't & at those speed guys that drive like that get others hurt at some point. Good racing need not have crazy dangerous nuts out there & no it's not racing when you drive as if you had blinders on. Looking forward to watching the other races you had your onboard camera on so i subscribed for excitements sake LOL Again that was a great drive & one famous track .
Nice drive Luke , i know as an ex karter how lonely it gets when you find yourself running with no one for any length of time ,You start thinking where the hell is everyone & you know you can't back off at all ,you run every lap as it were the last & your in front. Again great drive & a win is a win , we take them anyway we can.
43 was very competitive driver. However, you great. That was perfect overtake you had on it, kart 43. It,43, fought it way back at the very end and took chequered Flag. You did great though. it is always nice to watch you racing. By the way, what position did you get?
You drove well. I take it you are a winner in you class. Congratulations. What happened to 41? Saw it(41) overtaking you and the next thing it was off track.
Knew it . Watching 43 my predictions were right . Just made $100 bucks on a bet 43 would wreck you judging by what was going on. No disrespect to 43. I race in US.
proof talent is worth an extra 35hp over no talent and more power. nice to see the mono class back at assen even if it looks dodgy mixing it with the faster div1, karts.
Your kart was good at the corners. It cut curves faster . You were able to catch your opponents, like 57. You would overtake at the corners. But, when exit the corner and get on a long straight line they pass you like you were just standing there. Your body said it all when they surpass you🤣 lol. You were great and fun to watch. You are good a driver there is no doubt about that💯. I enjoyed watching the race.
Нет наката, нервы ... решение простое и сложное одновременное ... Тренировки ...минимум раз (лучше 2 ) раза в неделю с периодом 2 дня минимум и ...физподготовка .
@@lukeclemson493 I question some of that guys sharp moves when you tried to pass him ,not very smooth & he could easily have taken the both of you out as it did look like one point he did bump you when you went for the pass . I raced 100cc yamaha KT motor Laydown karts here in the States for 15 years with Woodbridge Kart Club & WKA ( World Karting Assoc.) & we had plenty of the 125 & 250 shifters in the club & lord have mercy they are fast . Great race & i would say you were the better driver & man you Kart moves around a lot as they will at speed , demanding as hell but it's pure motorsports with a vengeance.
I’m opening and closing the radiator flap, when the engine gets too hot I open the flap to allow more air to the radiator and for when I need more engine heat I close the flap, I can see the engine and water temperature on my data computer on the steering wheel
@@lukeclemson493 Ah I see. Another thing that bums me is that I dont have a kickstart lever or mechanism in my cr125 shifter and its an old one so its harder to find parts :)
These are the top of the line Karts in Kart Racing both here & in the States. 250cc watercooled six speeds. You better be on your game & smart as you need to go up the ranks before jumping into a Superkart. I raced in the States for 15 years . Best kept secret in Motorsports.
Yup, that was precisely as terrifying as I imagined! We were racing in the Kumho BMW Championship on the same day and watched your race. Cracking drive and big respect, completely barking hatstand.
was that all the classes out together , 250 nats were always black on white plates, , so 0 was a 250 nat so what passed you like you were standing still, i have done a lot of laps of oulton on all the circuits , fosters was always flat in top , with it drifting , the karts seem to be totally unstable , like not enough caster, what does the whole outfit inc you weigh now, we were 360 lbs all up
@@lukeclemson493 You're being sandbagged like f1 . Your karts shouldn't be close to a gixxer 1300hayabusa . 215kg is absolute clown weight matey , have you physically seen a reading of 215kg ? I'd struggle to spend that much mass building a kart up in my head.. Even if your full chassis was 50kg engine 50kg wheels and hubs 50kg thats only a gsxr600's mass theres still 65kg to allocate ! 🤷♂ 👍🏻 edit..nevermind i just realised you said DRIVER aswel that explains the +65kg 😂
