How does attacking work? Is there in-game dice, can my characters swing their swords in full dive and activate the dice roll? Can my spellcasters hurl a a spell and do damage? Im just curious cause all the “combat” sections is just how the initiative systems work
Very intuitive and still has a lot of potential! I'm currently on edge to just go for it because I know it won't stop updating in the near future, but it just still feels very limiting even for a starter campaign. I do hope for the next few patch updates to resolute my will on buying it, so all the best regards and high hopes for the Full Dive!
Looks really interesting. Have you thought about adding other resources other than fantasy like modern or sci-fi would love to do some think like this for shadow run or cyberpunk
I have no idea what that guy from video sayed) Some kind of unchained sounds, i barely hear somekind of words. Dude, please, go to the logopedist or find some lessons to figure out, how to speak.
I have a concern. Is there a way you can like add races to it manually? Like in a few of my campaigns i have friends who are Aasimar. Also the amount of customization options is extremely minimal but I do look forward to how far they go in this area.
Does anyone know if they can multiclass or is it just one class?? My dnd group would love to do this but a majority of our characters have mutliple classes and wont make sense to only give them one class... also most of the items we have in our game arent in this game
More clothes, armor, clothes, weapons and items need to be added. Maybe even have a way to customize the outfits from making your own? Templates can be a base and change them. Isk
Player edition would be perfect for Quest, you guys could gain a much larger audience for the GMs on PC, ive had my Quest 3 for awhile and only recently found this game even though i use PCVR, Player Edition on Quest would definitely boost the player base and lead to more people finding GM edition. You could probably add cosmetics or something to justify the cost of getting on the quest store
I am the sort of person who would be very much wanting to use these either for my games or attempting to create cinematics as I've always wanted to do animations with D&D characters. Some small questions, can we add our own assets? eg. if I wanted to add a fallout vault door for an instant. Are there AI options for non-combat AIs? eg people walking around to make full dive more immersive? Can I create worlds, characters etc in VR? is there an animation tool in game? Is a mobile port planned? I have players without laptops. Do you handle comms or are we staying with discord?
The music functionality is fantastic. I've been doing something similar manually for years with a collection of music I built up over decades of playing, but there have always been significant limitations since the player needs to change between separate tracks. The ability to incrementally fade in more and more instruments into the arrangement just by moving a slider? Amazing. I fully expect this to become a standard in no time.
Is this going to support games other than D&D 5e? Or at the very least will it have mod support for people that would like to run other systems? Will this have assets that are not fantasy, or at the very least will it support mods so people can add their own assets?
The currently available Map size is around 150 x 100 meters (+ 150 meter in all directions for the outer terrain => total size of 450 meters x 300 meters). Having said that, we also have a feature in the backlog for custom map sizes!
I am curious about a lot but also really intrigued. How does fog of war work on tabletop and full dive mode. Can you put in other classes from 5th edition that you guys havent prepared yet etc etc Ok getting this one for sure
This is pretty slick. Are there any plans for releasing a miniature creator toolkit? To allow players to become content creators for character models and miniatures usable in this game/app?
I proposed something like this to a game studio back in the day, but they didn't understand VR or Tabletop RPG's enough to get it. Glad to see it coming to fruition via your studio.
Can you do saved objects like in Tabletop Simulator? Like saving and deploying an entire bandit camp in one move? Can I make my own character sheet layouts? Like if I want to make a simpler ttrpg without skills? Can I make personalized skill trees? Can I make personalized spells with custom colors and particles? Can you do perform your whole turn as your character, both moving, attacking and spells?
- As of now we alreadydo allow custom content modding for 5e: dungeonfulldive.notion.site/Dungeon-Full-Dive-Modding-6667f2dda86845559a44011507ca9825 Additionally more support for homebrew content is planned as well! - For the mapbuilder: We don't have custom "Prefabs" or spell effects yet. There are prebuild effects and group objects that you can use for now. (e.g. house with assets) - The Combat currently is restricted to the Initiative tracker but more is planned for the future!
