You can't "smash" a button on youtube, or on any online place. It's called CLICK or CLICKING. I wish people would stop saying "smash" the button or whatever.

I was enjoying watching your part two Transit repair video when my daughter from across the room says , "Dad what are you watching?" I said "why?" She says , "it sounds like your watching a video of a girl redecorating her room by the sound of it." lolol , sorry mate , nice repair though! 😎👍
It's always good to make your own stuff. The problem here is that the use of these style of caliper tools is very limited. They will not wind back the majority of rear caliper pistons, which must be rotated as they compress.
Sometimes you have to look at the cost of materials + time spent, and weigh that against the cost of buying the actual tool. These are available for under $15, so it's not worth it to me to build one. Now, if we're talking about $200, that's a different ballgame.
Great idea. My only suggestion is to weld the nut with the screwed bar in place and cut the screwed bar with the nut on the bar. This way it is easier to start the threads?
