Blooket is an online learning website that matches action with education to make learning exciting. Teachers can create question sets on any topic, and then host live learning games with these questions. The special twist is that we offer a variety of game modes to make this review awesome.
This is the official RU-vid channel of Blooket. We'll post tutorial and announcement videos here.

hello and welcome to blooket, in order to get started you can go ahead and create a free account using the sign up button. if you already have an account, you can just log in. we can then log in. notice that you can log in using google or your blooket username and password. once you log in you will be taken to your dashboard page, here you can use the side bar to navigate. you can see recent news, your question sets, your favorite question sets, your recent and live homeworks, any quests and then your recently hosted games in the history section. in order to get started, we'll have to get a question set to host a live game. now you can either create a question set by clicking this button, or this one, or you can discover sets using the discover tab, you can look at the recently featured sets, and select any one. you can also use the search bar to search for sets. for example, spanish words. and then we can just select any set, and then you'll be taken to the set page where you can view the different questions, the answers, and then 2 buttons at the top. the solo button is mainly for students, if they wanna play a game alone. you'll wanna click the host button. now you'll be taken to the page with all our currently available game modes. click a game mode to learn more. notice at the bottom of the game mode, you'll see a button where it says host game, assign homework, or homework and host. now you can click any of these options, we'll start with a homework. so lets say you wanna create a homework so students can do this on their own time. perfect for remote learning. go ahead and click homework and it'll take you to a settings page. the students will only have until this time to complete the homework. you can extend this time by changing the value here. you can also change the homework title to better identify it. now for homework, you'll wanna set a goal. you can use our default goals, and select either a time-based game or a cash-based game, where students have to earn a certain amount of money before they're complete. you can now go ahead and click assign homework, and it'll generate a game id that students can use to join the game. you'll be able to see student's progress down here, and how many questions they're getting correct. if you wanna create a live game, we can go back, and select a live game mode, click host, and then once again we'll be taken to a settings page, just click host now, and now you're in a live game with a game id where students can join right now. this is perfect for in-class or zoom calls. now that about wraps up what all you need to get started with blooket, for more in depth tutorials check out the rest of the videos on the channel. thank you.
HOw do you have folders within folders? I have class X and I want to add a folder for chapters 1, 2, 3, etc. I teach more than one class, that's why I am asking this. When I go into a folder, I don't see the "folder +" icon to create new folders.
Thanks for this vid! Can I upload a csv to create a Blooket, then later upload another csv to that same Blooket? Will it append or overwrite the data in the existing Blooket? Thank you.
