the part when Lester cocks the gun and realizes he's breathing loud and whimpering is so funny to me. First season of Fargo is one of the greatest seasons of TV in history.
I’m inclined to think there’s a bit of a supernatural element in Fargo (not including the UFO in season 2 obviously) There’s a point in this scene where you hear one gangster’s gun jam which makes me think that Malvo is some kind of demon with an aura which protects him but only against people who have committed some kind of evil act. It would explain why he encourages people to act on their worst impulses, gets everyone’s hands dirty and removes the magic protection Remember Gus’ neighbour calls him a demon to his face Plus in season 3, Yuri dies after meeting that guy (I forget his name) who brings up his family’s history It’s not a big aspect but it’s subtle
Malvo is incredibly lucky. Half of everything he does relies purely on luck or coincidence. When he goes the restaurant and leaves right as the cop is coming in. When he switches the pills. Here the gun jamming.
the only man who could outsmart a perfectly skilled serial killer Lorne Malvo, was the one created by Malvo himself. The studend has surpassed his master. Malvo must be proud.
I always found it hilarious that the Chinese restaurant the mob ate at everyday was legit a door down from the Fargo mob. And they were always going ham on the food in there
Questa se mi ricordo bene la misero nel finale del film, la gente si alzava per andare via e in sottofondo sentiva questa canzone! Anzi sentivo l'ho visto anch'io al cinema, bellissimo film, stupenda musica.
this movie did fantastic in only 2 cities one my hometown winnipeg,,,center of canada . was playing here for 36 weeks ...and was selling quite well...i went with my brother about 15 times or so ...what a fantastic movie.,,,,the cast came to winnipeg years after for a re union ...sold out in minutes 5000 fans ....
@@ubt3606 That's what I mean. These guys didn't intend to take prisoners so why the cop-speak? I guess the writers thought that's what people say in gun fights? Did it put them on a different level than Malvo, who we know is a single-minded, driven killer? Like they would hesitate, looking for capitulation, where Malvo was singular of purpose and therefore had the advantage?
