Hey I bought one of these and it didn’t come with tent poles could you help me out on buying the right ones I would really appreciate it I spent all my money on it
It's a 40 dollar tent now, not as big as I thought, I'm taking it back to Walmart and getting the better one. Don't recommend this tent, easy to install but you definitely get what u pay for like he said it's good for a good fishing night or something
Hey John i appreciate your encouragement, I actually created another channel showing all things like in this video, the channel is called (green river sawyers)
I didn't see _Charlie_ swimming around anywhere in this video..? Seems incomplete without that old lizard out there begging for food. A very nice little Short though. Nice song.
Warning. 13:29 You must install thermostat against water heater tank so it can sense actual tank temperature. Not to trailer frame. Insulation needs to be cut back to expose tank. Thermostat is then bonded to the tank.
We love Cades Cove. It is such a beautiful area of the all around lovely Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It has been about a year since we were last there so it was great to see it again in your video. Thanks for sharing the adventure with us!
Slide outs are a disaster waiting to happen. The camper we bought does not have a slide for that reason. Growing up, we had a couple campers with slide outs. Most of the time they didn’t work correctly, or leaked. More time trying to fix than enjoying camping.
I've had a Lot of different tents. My absolute favorite (for camping, not backpacking trips) is the Ozark trail 6 person instant cabin. Seriously. I've lived in it during some very wet fall weather here in western Oregon. I had other living options but they wouldn't take a dog and I'd rather live in a tent than get rid of my dog. I've owned expensive tents though and this one was by far the best. Sets up in 1 minute all by myself. Nice and roomy and pretty cheap for the size. I can not complain about the Ozark trail tent I have owned.
@mattwayneadventures4276 that's the one. I do a lot of solo camping, just me and the dog. It's not so big that it feels ridiculous, but it's big enough that if I feel uncomfortable alone I can do everything indoors. I carry a 9mm so I'm rarely worried about being a female camper alone but still. It goes up so fast it's great.
I slept in mine for 3 weeks cuz I had to live with my relatives and I preferred to sleep outside, and it definitely leaked, had to use a towel to mop the water up.
You did a hell of a job transforming that rolling waste dump of a camper! Hopefully, you wore a full hazmat suit with a breathing apparatus strapped to your back because that thing was a freakin’ nuclear dump, and who knows what fumes from that thing you’d be breathing in! Again, hell of a job transforming that camper. Now I want one!
You have not gone camping in this unit yet have you! LOL 2 gallons of water is nothing. You are going to need a five gallon water container at least. You are going to need a gray water collection container. Get a plastic or porcelain container for the sink to do dishes with. One to wash and one to rinse.
I got the 4 person Ozark a few years back as kind of a "just in case" item to have. Agree there isn't much to it but it works okay in good weather like you mentioned. I found that it is more useful to use to store supplies in for a 2 week camping trip. Threw a few rocks in there just in case of wind and it kept everything dry during a couple of days of rain. Upgraded to a North Face Wawona for me and the wife.
Yes I love to give the cheaper tents a shot but sometimes I don’t always win haha, yeah I purchased the north face storm breaker myself, it’s a whole different level
Really Cool I actually just watched a walk through with a lady who bought one in 2019 from market place and i was amazed at how nice and original all of it was. Thank you for sharing this for you did a great job bringing it back and saving it. For myself I didn't realize how many neat things there was out there when I waa younger❤SAFE TRAVELS
Had to watch again as we take ours apart between over hot day in Fl. and rainstorms. I just love yours. So, it is inspiring me. Gettiing ready to clean our little square drop camper up to sale.
Just brought a Burro 1983. We are we getting started. We are going to try to fix the windows, all original plexi. It looks so nice. We are putting a window unit in passenger side window. Have the original paperwork and it is where they say it is to go. Live in Fl so no way can we go without A/C. We will have to do repairs on fiberglass shell outside. I am just cleaning and waxing and buffing inside. No cushions but I sew so will make some. Love the job you did on it. i will take a bit longer needs more work. Adding more 12 volt ports, and we are adding the water tank. We brought the shell with original everything accept cushions. A few lights we may have to replace on outside they are cracking, hubby wants to change to LED. All lights on inside am replacing. Doesn't need many and they will be LED. We are keeping the stove top, cleaned her up she looks almost brand new. It is stainless steel. ou inspired me to ge her done. Thank you. Beautiful job looks brand new. what did your friend say after? Be the wish he kept it. Peace!
Nice work! Consistency is truly the key to improving as a runner. Get out there at least 3 times per week at easy pace and you'll improve quickly. Beautiful dog! Keep pushing my friend!
