I am sorry, there is an incorrect information i this video. The portuguese court fled from Lisbon, the capital of Portuguese Empire, because of Napoleon invasion, not from Porto. Porto is important for Portugal formation as Kingdom, but since Lisboa is taken from Muslims in the Reconquista, it became Portugal's capital.

Excellent list. I've either been to or want to go to every one of those destinations. The only one I have not researched and did not know about was the Pelion Peninsula, Greece. A true smorgasbord of Mediterranean delights.

As far as I know Cyprus related to two countries. Greece and Turkey. But honestly It depends on consideration. For example, I keep Ukraine as a European country. I have a friend who is Ukrainian and he keeps Ukraine as an Asian one. 🙂
