The problem is if they have weight in motion, you may have been stopped for missing the weight sensors. Don’t seem like a big deal because you didn’t miss actual weight station however by not hitting the sensors it’s viewed as trying to to run under the radar so you don’t get weighted thus not getting the pull in weight station alert. Seems crazy but I know a few drivers that does that and have warned them that DOT has low tolerance to that and asking for permission with them is better than asking for forgiveness. Pray all goes well with you moving forward.
Here in Arkansas and Texas the dot pick out box trucks and hot shot trucks. I was told that a lot of these hotshots and box trucks don't have the proper insurance and dot numbers so that's why they pick them out. The officer told that those guys be bootlegging..lol
You most likely missed the weigh-in-motion scale before the two lighted signs. That's just like blowing the scale because it's pre clearance. Unfortunate timing because it's happened to all of us at some point in time. It won't go on your clearinghouse because that's drug and alcohol. It will count against your CSA safety score though, because DOT got you. The only way it'll go on your DAC is if your company puts it on it but that's not typical for a ticket unless it's a wreck involved.
If you have a class A it’s on your dac report you could have done what he did ..give it about a month or two after it will show .. your lawyer is absolutely correct it will not show on your drivers licenses record but that’s different from your dac report
Look your being played with this Law Enforcement Officers is wrong this dude just made up a Law to write you a Ticket Judge's are dumb they, accept Any ticket for money. You guys Are crazy it's a Box Truck this officer needs to be reported to the Feds Seriously.
Sorry the police told you the truth, when you know were the weight scale located always the sign are for to stay in the right line because they have a weight line on the ground were the signs located this let you know if you can keep riding or stay in line behind the trucks, sorry 😔 but try to always stay in the right line when you in your truck 🚛 I've been trucking for 44 years so these are the rules the reason why he looked at the tag was the tag shows where you have been,it tells each place you have been riding in that truck 🚛 GOOD LUCK HAVE A Blessed Day 😊🎉❤
You got stopped becuse you were driving too long in the passing lane....You could beat that ticket if you had a dash cam recording at the time....I know the county that stopped you. they got me just after I was leaving SC....Next time I"m taking i85 Because Madison County, GA is out to get you if you're in a box truck
@@qb6737 because it's not a benefit for dot to tell you what the law is they want you to do it again so they can get some more money out of your bank account
Congratulation on staying one year with the same company. If you think about a change please consider coming over to the Teamsters Union Driver Jobs such as UPS< ABF. Good luck young man
Georgia has a sign that say all commercial trucks must enter right lane you must obey sign because the next 2 electronic signs tell you to enter or by pass. They have a pad in the right Lane that checks your weight if you bypass it it just as if you ran the scale Many drivers miss this or never notice it. Louisiana and Georgia and I think Oklahoma you have to be in the right lane when you see the 1st weigh station sign than you be in the clear Alabama and some states has virtual scale you must be in the right lane when passing these if you in the left lane bypass this just like running the scale. Virtuel scale is a pad u roll over that check your weight and you see a pole with cameras on the right side of highway Takes pictures of tag and the driver must be in the right lane if in the left lane and pass by this it's just like running the scale you will pay dearly if caught .
Why are you paying for fines and a lawyer? Unlesd you are an owner operator that should be on your company. Honestly been doing this a while if they want you they will get you. The fire extinguisher should be a fix it ticket. Youve been doing this 3 years you should know better. You gotta study that route know everything about it thats how you avoid trouble. Download trucker path it tells you about weigh station. Everyone knows the dot is a tax its not about safety they're revenue generators.
I got pulled in multiple times near my home location and the officer told me they focus on boxtrucks and hotshots because they said we don’t know what we doing.
The weigh in motion signs tell you to bypass or pull in. It's either green or red and white when closed. Has to be the one on 85 we've had trouble there they're horrible as bad as 68
The thing about Georgia scales I thing there is cameras 5 miles leading up don’t tailgate and be in that right lane. If you seem impatient and rushing they pull you in.
Sir, we loved you. But you seem you confused. We were doing box trucks, then you went to semi trucks, we stopped listening to you coz we interested on box trucks!!., now you are back to box truck and expect us to keep liking your videos?, Trust is like a mirror, once broken it won’t be the same again. I hope i’m not the only who was willing to waste time to advice a brother
Lol 1st Thing This I A Trucking Channel 2nd Im Not In A Box Truck Anymore 3rd I Post Videos On My Experience With Trucking, Wherever That May Take Me. Seeing That You Clicked On The Video Obviously Some People Are Watching
If you follow the channel and his journey you would realize that he works for a local company that runs both Semi and CDL Box trucks. He is a company driver and so he is at the mercy of the company what routes they have available for him on a day to day basis. This particular day happened to be him in a CDL Box truck but, he has shown plenty of videos in the Semi.
How dare he not dedicate his life to box truck videos. The nerve of this ninja! Tell em @patrickkogo6581. He broke our trust. I don't know about you Patrick but I was crying holding my pillow when he stopped making box truck videos. You won't fool me twice.
Watching from the north slope rn. Got here from watching some of your box truck videos, looking at starting my own cargo van/box truck company. Glad to see you're doing good and making videos still🔥
Nice to see the update! Yeah I wouldn’t worry about posting all the videos constantly, just stay at your own pace and that’s good 👍🏾 . I don’t post videos at all but I’m in a few groups on Facebook and answering the same questions time after time after time does get old lol (I can only imagine how you get those questions 10x lol). I’m at a point with my box truck that the truck is paid off and the insurance is starting to be cheaper so I can just pay for the policy for the whole year at renewal now. It’s nice that I don’t need to hustle like I did in the beginning (it was nice and there was a thrill when getting started but I did get burned out sometimes) but I’m about to sign up for a class to get my CDL to drive the bigger tractors, and it’s not to make more money but I’ve been intrigued with them for a while now and I want to get one with a manual transmission like my box truck.
@@tonyburley5478 I wouldn't say my company is a mega carrier because they transport their own freight to get delivered to their stores. But going to a mega carrier isn't bad a bad idea. Just get your experience. Dont do any lease purchase or anything.
