is there a way to quickly break the linkage between a master file and its existing references in fold A, and re-link them with the references in fold B with the same names?
Thank you for the ProjectWise lessons, but it would be really helpful is SOMEONE would create a useful video on how to Attach Tags. I've searched Bentley, RU-vid and the Internet and NO ONE has created such a video. The closest I've found is videos that all stop just short of actually using the Tag Sets after creating them.
Thank you for a new learning video re: ProjectWise 👍👍 Missing a Tab function that used to be incorporated in ProjectWise. 🤷♂?? In your video, 3.36 in. Using the Advance Wizard function, a new window appears, where you have to define the Document code, shown in five rows. (Area) 1) After choosing a content. 2) Then normally I could press the Tab button to "jump" into the next row (Doc Type) << 3) This normally daily used shortcut, is not responding when I hit the Tab button.? doesn't I am a very big fan of using my keyboard ⌨(Shortcuts) instead of the Mouse, in my daily work in PW. Time, is my biggest opponent, in my job as a Lead Document Controller. Every process, where I can reduce time in general, is money. And above leads to my next question.: (2.2) Have you done any videos, that covers working smarter and faster in PW seen from the user perspective. Just a thought 😊😊 - Keep up the good work.
Is there any way to manually add a dependency? We're using ProjectWise explorer to manage CAD files from another software that uses multiple reference files similar to Bentley and Autodesk CAD software, but with no PW integration, PW explorer has no way of knowing what files are dependent on others. We only use this software for very specific uses so I don't mind setting dependencies manually the few times I need to.
What does it mean when you have two characters embedded in the icon? Some of my files have two characters at the bottom of the icon for Open Buildings?
