Sheaffer makes the Sentinel. It's the same size as the Jotter and even has brass threads on the top half. They come with a plastic or brushed stainless steel barrel. The Sheaffer VFM is just a bit wider in diameter than the Jotter XL. Thst is my personal favorite. Enjoy your content.
Just wanted to say that I've switched from a Filofax to a Moleskine weekly, after watching your videos. I much prefer this format, and being able to save the books easier when they are finished. Any more updates on your current planner setup?
For my journaling needs and related archiving, I have used Day One Journal since November 2014. I've never had a problem with it and it is absolutely vital to everything I do. Thank you for your video.
I’m sorry, I know you posted this 2 years ago- but I just came across it and hopefully you will see this. I have nearly watched all of your videos. You are the definition of a gentleman- you can see how much faith and family mean to you. I just lost my mother recently, she was only 62 and passed away suddenly out of nowhere. I’m an only child and she was my only parent and we lived together my entire life. Grief has pushed me towards journaling, so I was hoping you can answer a quick question for me. I am currently struggling to remember memories, possibly my mind is overloaded and flooded with grief. I would like to journal about my Mom and my grandparents (who I am blessed to still have ♥️) in a preservation of their history and what a remarkable Mother I had- my, how God has blessed me with my Mother, with her love, wisdom and knowledge… How do you journal about your childhood, and late mother? Do you write memories chronologically or as they come into your memory? Do you prep certain stories before committing them to paper? My late Mother was a woman of strong faith, and instilled a strong sense of faith in me. Whether you see this comment, respond or not- God Bless you, Sir. Thank you for your videos, they mean more to people than you know. All my love, respect and admiration.
It’s easy for me, I don’t worry about an exact date of a memory. My parents gave us so many! My Mom was a loving mother, but she was stern. My best memories were at the holidays. Just write what you are thinking about. I write things about my grandparents, and other family members. It’s easy, the memories are there. I write about summer, the thing they said and special things they did.
I've been watching and rewatching videos of your Moleskine planners, and Today I finally ordered one. Would love an updated video, on your planner, and that beautiful cover you have!
I love Parker pens I’ve got more then I care to count from new made in France ones to the vintage made in the USA and England ones .. rollerball and even the Parker pencils, I have the same hotter XL but cannot get use to the size I think for having the regular size jotter the XL feels so big I do hope tho they do the regular jotter in that all black because that’s the only reason I bought the XL was for that all black finish
I just ordered a set of 4 Apica pocket notebooks due to great reviews and people loving them for being fountain pen friendly. I just got some larger ones and that paper is so luxurious! But if you find a notebook you like, you can waterproof the covers by rubbing on a wax seal, or adding on a waterproof cover.
Interspersed between devotionals and writing I have logs of hunting harvests and weight, points, how many taken and how much meat processed and then another sermon!
Whoever engineered pocket t shirts probably designed the pocket in that location to protect your heart if somebody happened to shoot you. Like put a bullet proof notebook in your pocket and maybe your a little more protected . Just guessing
It's a beautiful pen. I have it in pencil - unfortunately I have very dry hands, and my fingers just slide down the pen making it difficult for me to use. But it's a very pretty design.
If you hold your hand behind the pen, the camera will change it's auto focus. Or you can set the focus manually on the close distance you are going to be holding the pen most of the video.
