Im surprised nobody has said it yet but be careful bud. Any type of paint on a serial number is considering defacing, and you just showed off 3 firearms with their serials clear as day, painted.. 😓
1ST, I ALSO USED TO CARY WITH HOME MADE BELT CLIP BET ALWAYS MADE SURE A WORE A BELT DIE ENOUGH THAT IT WOULD COVER THE TRIGGER BUT BODY SWEAT,RUINS THE FINISH ON GUNS. 2ND,THAT TRIGGER COVER, NOT A CD IDEA, WHAT HAPPENS IF OR WHEN YOU HAVE TO PULL THAT GUN FOR DEFENSE.? HAVE YOU EVER HAD 2.? BY THIS VIDEO, DON'T THINK SO BECAUSE IF YOU HAD,YOU KNOW THAT "TIME" TO RESPOND,IS OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL. THERE MAY NOT BE TIME TO REMOVE THAT TRIGGER GAURD..GD LHHCK AND HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE TO PULL THAT GUN.
Handled a few XM's when they first hit the mkt. I didn't understand the hype. They didn't flip and they didn't cut. And I wasn't impressed with nylon washers in a hard use folder either. I stuck with CRK and Striders. But now might be a good time to own a Hinderer. The Tri-way pivot, flipper delete and slicer grind is what I've been waiting for ;)
I use Hoppe's to wipe the slide down using paper towels. Apply some wite out, let it dry. You could apply another coat if You'd like. Remove excess with Hoppe's on a paper towel.
Whew, I want a Chris reeves knife, but the price would probably prevent me from using it, and therefore defeat the point of having it. TBH the “comic sans” font bugs me on the fixed blade.
