Seems a very narrow station that one and when it gets busy it’s worst those 444’s and 450’s when they arrive and depart sound like something from outer space 😂
@@SionsTrainVideos Yes, the 47 was doing most of the work on the outward leg due to the Black 5 having caused two lineside fires on the SWML and then they banned it for the return
Great video Adam like the way it came through Exeter lovely thrash and tone think out of the 2 railtours I saw yesterday this one is the best as this had a nice surprise of a class 50 at the back which I didn’t expect and I expect this is the only time this will come down with the mayflower I saw was good but I know it will be coming down a lot again soon so that will get boring
Thanks Alex, yeah I believe the 50 was only on the rear in case the Western failed, I think Mayflower is coming down again on Saturday 15th but not sure about after that
Thank you, yes it was a very special sight to see as you don't often get 5 engines on a tour and it was even rarer seeing it on the hardly used bay platform!
Thanks, well it only stopped for a couple of minutes so I didn't want to risk walking down and it leaving whilst I was doing that so I stayed where I was
When I have previously said that North Devon Stagecoach doesn’t run 🏃♀️ on Christmas 🤶 🧑🎄 🎅 🎄 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day, also they don’t run 🏃 on New 🆕 Year’s Day 🎆 🎇 🧨 🎉 🥳 🎈 🙌 🍾 🥂 🍻 as well is the 1st of January per year. Christmas 🧑🎄 🎅 🤶 🎄 Day is the 25th of December, Boxing 🥊 Day is the 26th of December in the old year and finally the New 🆕 Year’s Day 🧨 🎆 🎇 🎉 🥳 🙌 🥂 🍻 🍾 is the 1st of January. There used to be Stagecoach company happened to these trains 🚊 in England 🏴 was last in the East Midlands previously named EMT - East Midlands Trains 🚊 until August 2019 and finally replaced by EMR - East Midlands Railway 🚃. The train 🚊 company was called SWT - South West Trains 🚊 until August 2017 and renamed SWR - South Western Railway 🚃. Stagecoach has been in the North Devon area since the year 2006. 👍 😄
At the Barnstaple bus 🚍 station 🚉 are the 13 registration double decker buses 🚎 🚍 🚌 that are wearing the North Devon Wave 🌊 livery have previously been repainted into the second Stagecoach livery. Only one 1️⃣ ☝️ double decker bus 🚍 retains its North Devon Wave 🌊 livery. It’s because it was called the North Devon wave 🌊 livery years ago previously before the year 2013 when there were slightly older buses 🚌 🚍 🚎 were probably a 04 registration plate double decker bus 🚍 in the past. I don’t think 🤔 it’s called the North Devon wave 🌊 livery anymore. Things change in life. 👍
This must be the double decker bus 🚍 registration number MX07 HMF is new 🆕 to the city 🌃 Manchester in the northwest of England 🏴 in 2007. When the bus 🚌 was brand new 🆕, it was a normal closed top 🔝 double decker bus 🚌. I’ve been on these double decker buses 🚌 in the past. When I’ve travelled 🧳 on the double decker bus 🚍 in the cold 🥶, I felt freezing 🥶 cold 🥶 and have to wear a wholly hat 👒, scarf 🧣, coat 🧥 and finally gloves 🧤 🧤 to keep me warm. It’s called North Devon Wave 👋 🌊 because it’s by the sea 🌊 in north Devon in the southwest of England 🏴. The open top 🔝 bus 🚍 runs from the months is around March the 3rd 🥉 month is late ⏰ winter ❄️ 🥶 GMT - Greenwich Mean 😪 Time 🕰️ to around late ⏰ October the 10th month BST - British 🇬🇧 Summer ☀️ 🌞 Time 🕰️ or GMT - Greenwich Mean 😪 Time 🕰️ per year is because it’s the summer ☀️ 🌞 season from late ⏰ June to late ⏰ September per year. This bus 🚎 is absent from being used in the months are November, December in the old year and January and February in the early year because it’s very cold 🥶 weather 🌦️ that perhaps 🤔 can make people ill 🤧. It’s a lovely ☺️ sunny 🌞 ☀️ 😎 weather 🌦️. The open top 🔝 double decker bus 🚍 is used mainly on route 21C from Barnstaple to Croyde and Georgeham via Chivenor and Braunton and from route 21 Barnstaple to Bideford via Barnstaple Railway 🚃 Station 🚉 , Fremington and Instow. This happened on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 is nearly 2 previous years ago this June. North Devon Stagecoach runs its bus 🚌 services everyday and public holidays except Christmas 🤶 🎅 🧑🎄 🎄 and Boxing 🥊 Day. Stagecoach in north Devon has been in its business 👩💼 since the year 2006 for nearly 20 years when I was aged 29 or 30 years old. Now I’m aged 48 years old is updated Wednesday 13th March 2024. 👍 😍 😀 😄
Marsh Barton is a quiet 🤫 railway 🚃 station 🚉 on the main line is served by GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 local services stops 🛑 there at certain times ✖️ published in the train 🚊 timetable everyday. It’s an unstaffed railway 🚃 station 🚉 because it’s a small community, however has a self service ticket 🎫 🎟️ machine and is in the Exeter area. The reason why I say that Marsh Barton is in the Exeter area is because it’s connecting Exeter. I’ve been to Marsh Barton railway 🚃 station 🚉 on Saturday 9th September 2023 is over four 4️⃣ previous months ago wearing my black ⬛️ trousers 👖. It was a sunny 😎 ☀️ 🌞 day was BST - British 🇬🇧 Summer 🌞 ☀️ 😎 Time 🕰️. GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 runs its services everyday and public holidays except Christmas 🎄 🤶 🧑🎄 🎅 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day. Marsh Barton is the Riviera Line that a train 🚊 goes to Paignton via Dawlish, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and Torquay and to Exeter and Exmouth. When the trains 🚊 go east of Marsh Barton, mainly many trains 🚊 terminate in Exmouth via Exeter St Davids, Exeter Central and Topsham where certain journeys terminate at Exeter St Davids and/or Exeter Central because the trains 🚊 live at Exeter depot. The trains 🚊 serve Marsh Barton are class 150s, 158s 165s and 166s. 👍 😃 😀
It’s another good video you seem to get more likes on this video no comments tho I do honestly think your channel deserves better, nice to see a rare sight of a freight which I think i was trying to record at the time but it wouldn’t come 😂
Hugely enjoyable and now very nostalgic now that the XC HSTs are no longer with us and soon neither will be the Castles 😢 but you may know I've said this before: always appreciate ALL trains when you have them. Even Voyagers!!! 😮
Nice video Adam nice to see the Class 196 in the background you can also see 170 behind it too, there was alot of clag with the 168 Clubmans. Hopefully in the near future 20-70 new trains will be better as they will have battery on them. Leamington Spa was where Mrs. Bucket came to in 1993 lol.
Thanks Jamie, it was a 172 in the background and yeah the Chiltern units really need a refurbishment but as you say if they are ordering new units there isn't any point
