I'm a UK based Software Consultant working with Autodesk Infrastructure Software. Most of these videos are recorded with a live audience so may have the odd mistake in them 🤔 Feel free to ask any questions, but I travel all over the place so likely responses may be sporadic
Export the Infraworks,, Chat GPT, Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Inventor, ENGI file of the Building or Refinery to Excel, prepare Budget 1 and export it to COBRA. Prepare Budget 2 and export it to Microsoft Project. Solve the problems of Overallocated Resources, Planning Problems, prepare the Budget 3 with which the construction of the Building or the Refinery is going to be quoted.

HOLA MUCHO GUSTO, PODRIAS INDICAR COMO HACES PARA PRESENTAR EL ENSAMBLAJE EN EL CUADRO DE PROPIEDAD O COMO PUEDES TENER UNA VISTA PREVIA, ESPEERO PUEDAS AYUDAR GRACIAS
I find this tutorial very helpful, and I would like to express my gratitude for it. Would you kindly consider sharing an alignment template with me for my practice?
Great work!! Have you other roundabout tutorials? I am new to civil 3D and I am hoping to design a roundabout in work. Can you also show how to use the civil 3D roundabout creation tool!? Ty so much
I know the US has it's own open government data. That's here: data.gov/. You may find what you are looking for there. I've not extensively searched in there, but it's always worth a look
Hi, I got the original file from the Ordnance Survey as a .gz file (A compressed GML file). I imported this then exported as a .shp file. You can purchase the data in shp format from a number of vendors. Note: I'm based in the UK. If you want to see more on AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D with Mapping data then I have just posted another event I did. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R0QmsJCfPKI.html. This video shows me importing the data and exporting the data plus some jiggery pockery to create 3D buildings.
Ian, hope you are keeping well. I attended many of your excellent, lockdown webcasts. We have recently become a Graitec customer for AEC tools. Please tell me how I can be notified of your future webcasts. I haven't seen them advertised on the Graitec website.
Hi Syed, I work for www.graitec.com/uk. These videos are some of my presentations people have asked for. I don't have any videos other than on this channel. Hope they are useful
I've looked at this, and yes, it works brilliantly. You export to CSV (which Windows defaults to opening in Excel) and can add as many as you need. What I liked about this is that if the assembly doesn't exist at the chainage (station) you choose, Civil 3D will automatically add it. My top tip here is to build it without the drop kerbs first, then extract the back of footpath featurelines from the corridor. Make sure in the settings you tell it not be dynamic to the corridor and create a name template to include the side. Then set this as a target for the back of the footpath. This way when you import all your kerb transitions the back of the footpath remains at the correct level
🤣. They are live presentations. I don't post them for likes, or kudos. They are only posted because people ask me to post them so they can review them later. Anyway, this is the shortest one! The one with only 1 point (and one minor diversion). Don't watch the other ones, you'll hate them 😁
Hi, @ 16:56 you suggested there where other ways of tracing over a profile. What are they? I am using 12d at the moment and in that you dynamically put in and offset grade along a section. So at this section you would put it a 0%, but at the beginning i could put in an offset grade of 2.5% instead of creating that dummy surface. How can you do this in C3D?
I used another method in the video for Grade Seperated Junctions. Have a look. I make it Static, then copy it, then make it dynamic again. I take the copied profile and change it's style and name and use that.
