I understand what you're saying. Often your opponent will try to get chest to chest. In that moment, a sweep like this works well, if only to just off balance them.
Wow so simple and i never thought of that and your pushing them the way they are already going. It reminds me of the stiff arm escape when they switch base on top side control which i love. Im guessing its a timing thing when they commit forward pressure. How often is this successful?
