I actually prefer the size of the playscale compared to the UCS but even with the price of the UCS being $500, it’s still a better value than trying to buy one of the old versions sealed.
The new UCS set is really expensive, looks great but only worth about €300/350. Love the new Leia except maybe for the swimming trunks. A rather bland, but fairly detailed interior. C3PO should be the highest quality one available, disappointed by the low quality of the barge figurines (Vizam, Kithaaba, Woof) and the relatively small number of figurines overall. Space being an issue, I just purchased the older playset for 229€ and I feel quite happy and a bit relieved by my decision. I already have the Rancor set and Jabba's palace so I can use some of the figures from there. Going to buy the new desert skiff on sale. It looks great! 👌
Would be WILD if he reviewed the original one, too (in my opinion, still the best of the three). We haven’t had a modern day, High quality, in depth review of that set. It goes for 700 on eBay though so highly unlikely
@@Alyciapurrot Well I mean that's kinda always the case for older sets. People usually buy them for nostalgia or to complete a collection. Obviously paying 3 times the price of retail isn't good value.
I’m gonna have to go with Darth Malak on this one. I love his custom molded piece and I’ve never really liked how Darth Revan’s head piece has that grey instead of the helmet which just looks ugly, and he just uses a generic hood piece (yes I know you can’t really use anything else, but a generic hood piece isn’t as exciting as Malak’s custom molded piece.) I also like how Malak got more detail. While I like the Revan figure a lot and I agree it’s great, I just like the Malak figure more.
Awesome review, I just built a Star Destroyer bridge moc in UCS scale to pair with this set, maybe we can do a collab and feature my moc to your channel if you're interested.
I know they're not the most popular sets in the Lego Star Wars community, but I am really loving your Star Wars Technic reviews! Can't wait to see a Technic Darth Vader review!
Out of all of the early 2000’s battle packs, this is the only one I missed. Really goated Battlepack. Can’t wait to get the new Battlepack next month and for your review of it
@@ob-1studios Oh definitely I remember buying a few more of these and I remember when the first Mandalorian battle pack came out I took the dropship (which I nicknamed the Walmart grade value LAAT.) and used it with the Death Watch troopers making a Mandalorian Army.
Actually if you watch the episode where Ahsoka gets rescued from the trandoshans, the landing gears are down when they land at the jedi temple. So it is accurate
The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A sing lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. ding Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready!… Start. ding
This new Lando figure and the Nien Nunb from the set are solid contenders for fig of the year in my books. Great video btw, I appreciate giving the second look at the dual face prints because I'm always distracted the first time round!
This ship was named the Azure Angel in homage to Padme. It’s definitely one of the best Lego delta 7’s we have ever gotten. Definitely top 3 best Lego delta 7’s in my opinion. Incase your curious my list would be Azure Angel 1st, Ahsoka’s Delta 7 2nd, and Plo Koon’s 3rd.
I honestly love both versions of them. I think just put Rebels Ahsoka’s Leeku on the Ahsoka the Grey and that would immediately be a 10/10. I do like the Rebels has the thick face markings which makes sense with Ahsoka getting older her face marking would change and get thicker as well.
Honestly even with the underside. I’m really happy with this set. The Ahsoka figure is awesome although I HATE the smaller Lekku that will always get me upset. (I often just takes Rebels Ahsoka Lekku and put them on the Ahsoka series Ahsoka and she looks way better.) Sabine is very nice wish she did come with a Jetpack as well though. Huzang is good he could have just used General Grevious body but I like they gave him something else. I say this was worth the money to buy definitely happy with it and loved getting a T6. My personal all time favorite Jedi starship.
I would say if you plan on buying the UCS Jabba's Sail Barge, then having the new Desert Skiff set in general would look great beside the UCS set, but the 2012 Lando Skiff Guard minifig is still really good, not to the point I'd say to go out of your way to grab the set unless you are a huge ROTJ fan!
