Nothing ruins a trucks suspension faster than lift kits and oversized tires and rims. If you plan on keeping the truck long term I suggest you get rid of the modifications if you do not want to be constantly buying new expensive brake and suspension parts.
I love your truck!!!since buying my dakota I've fallen in love with this gen.cant ever find another person driving a lifted one out in norcal.i have to hop online to check out other dakota owners builds. #dodgelife
What people do is crank the torsion bars for the front gaining about 2", then add body lift for another 3". For the rear add 2" leaf blocks and the body lift.
I have had a couple of these I’ve ran 35s with cut fenders and cranked torsion bars. I currently run a 96 with 2inch torsion keys cheapest one off of amazon I also cut the fenders and reused the fender flares with some mods. Current tires are 33x12.5x15 trxus mts rubs frame slightly I have a body lift but not sure if I’ll install it
fabtech did make a lift 2 different ones for this gen of Dakota. along with a couple others manufacturers. Now supreme suspension is the only one that I know of that still make a lift for this gen of dakota.
yes, those tires will fit fine. you may get a slight rub on the frame at 'full lock' on the steering, but all that will happen is you will see a bare spot on the frame.
i have this same truck looking to lift it also, can you tell me where did you get your lift kit at. or can you help me out with a link to the information. please you would be alot of help
Are those offset rims? i love the stance on your truck im trying to get stance like that on mine but i cant decide between spacers or offset rims. i kind of like the stock rims
the only reason you piss me off is because im super jealous i used to have one just like it except with a rollbar and brush gaurd paid 600 for it redid rear end and front end tranny went out i was forced to sell it when i was 16 still looking to this day for one like it my favorite truck so far
