My name is Josie. I am a mom, a wife and a career woman who loves to travel as well as experiment in the kitchen. I created this channel to connect with my parents since I live thousand of miles away from them. I wanted them to see where I have been in my travels and that their dear daughter who does not know how to cook before getting married now sees her kitchen as her best friend. 😀
Because of my busy work, I don't usually cook everyday. But to keep me sane during the pandemic, I started hanging out in my kitchen almost everyday and experiment with recipes which I normally didn't do as often before. I feel motivated when my family praises how good the food I prepare for them. There is a lot to learn, but nevertheless the experience has been refreshing and productive. I'd like to share what I've learned, and maybe you'll find something interesting, too!

Hi! On our way to Chur, we sat on the right side of the train, which I think offers better views throughout the journey. Occasionally, I had to move to the left side to capture some nice sceneries, but overall, the right side was great for sightseeing. 😊
With all the stops we did to enjoy the views and take pictures, it took us a little over 1.5 hours to hike down. I’d definitely recommend doing it, stunning views on the way down!

Sorry for responding late. We did the 1.5 hour loop trail but took our time for photos and soaking in the views so it took us about 2.5 hours to finish the loop. From Muir Woods, we drove for 10 minutes to get to the Overlook which is a little over 3.5 miles. It was a nice drive as well. We went back to San Francisco after this and didn’t go back to the woods. But we plan to try the other hiking trails some other time. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply! There’s plenty of parking on both so it was not hard to find parking. We were in Muir Woods for about 2.5 hours just doing the loop hike, stopping at times to admire the views, and spent about 30 minutes in the Overlook. From Muir Woods, we drove around 10 minutes to get to the Overlook.
Hi Abigail, after getting off the cable car, it will only take about 3 minutes to walk to the lake from the station. Should you decide to walk the trail around the lake, it will take about 1.5 hours to complete which includes selfies and stops to admire the views.
I noticed that, too, but the traffic lights are working and before approaching the road, the train blows its horn really loud so I guess that’s how they control the traffic.
Yes, it’s one and the same railroad though this one originated from Santa Cruz Beach; there’s another train that travels through the Redwoods from the Roaring Camp.

@@MsSundis Weather wise, Mid-September is a great time to visit Switzerland. However, if you head up to higher elevations, expect some cold temperature. So please make sure you pack warmer layers and jackets. It will be so much fun, I can’t wait to go back! Good luck!

Hello, we actually did the 2 mile loop trail to Bridge 4 and back via Hillside trail. It took us about 2.5 hours including stops to take photos, videos and searching for souvenirs in the store. After which we proceeded to Muir Beach Overlook.
