This depends on its condition. According to PCGS, a MS65 graded version would bring around $65 at auction. If it is lower grade(MS63) would fetch around $40.
I hear ya about collecting those key dates. Just picked up a 1913 P Barber Half yesterday 9/20/24 at grapevine coin show . My problem I have to many series I’m collecting at one time.😆
I been doing that as well. Every coin that comes through my hands I check it. I got a news flash for you 2024 coins are going to be low mintages put some away most people don't no it yet.
Why is it on a normal coin where it says God the line goes straight up for the G but on these it very much looks like a C? I see people selling it on eBay for obscene amounts and it seems all of them have it on this coin
@gailwagner8115 Hi, and thanks for watching. This is actually a "G". There is a small vertical serif on the bottom. This was the font that the artist for this series decided to go with. This is not an error, but it truly can fool many people if you can not see it up close.
I have a crazy one there's letters on her forehead and appears to be down her cheek bone a backwards 2 then a backwards 1 and on the front says in cod we trust got pics and super good vid with USB microscope going to upload to my Facebook tomorrow

You have some coin dealers or collectors put old money into circulation to keep the hobby going/ interesting, or it could have came out of someones collection who have passed away and the family just spent the coin. I would have your family member to keep a look out of change coming into the store harder because it could more coming in or already in the store safe.
Yes, I agree, This is a rarity to find a coin this old and in this condition found in pocket change. I think non coin collectors see "United States of America - 1 cent" and just cash it in.
Goodday to all. I just got 2 for my collection of american coins. You will not believe what im goig to say. My coin that i just got says..... in cod we trust..istead of god it says cod. It looks like a proffset.

These quarters are such a stupid disgrace of American currency. It's worst coin I've ever seen. I was putting money in vending machine for a drink and this pos coin spit back out . I didn't know what kind or what country it was from. I thought it was a total mess up on the coin because it was soo bare . But yea the machine didn't even want this pos coin. Something the ignorant libs drew up and Biden pushed for it. Democrats ruining America
The machine striking these pos coins didn't even want them to be made since about all of them are errors. 🖕to those who was involved in this shit creation of a "coin"
