Hi there, we mention this in the video, this is the shock that requires the frame mod, which most retailers stock. One other benefit of running this shock is you can easily access the rebound adjustment without having to remove the seat, the updated shock had to be run the opposite way. Thanks for the question!
My TTR-110 has front sprocket play that slides and tilts back and forth a little, it's a 2021 that I hardly ride but it makes a clacking noise I've never heard, is this normal?
Hi there, thanks for the question. A little bit of side to side movement on the spline is normal, as its how the mount up. It shouldn't really rotate forward or back in the direction of rotation though. Hard to diagnose the 'clacking noise' though just from what you've said. Does it sounds like its the chain, or something else? Sometimes you'll hear what we call 'Chain Slap, which you'll get when your chain is too loose, or sometimes if you're just lugging a tall gear out of a turn.
