Firebirds sound like a beefed up Strat. They're very comfortable to play when seated. The front strap button has to go behind the neck otherwise they dive. They are the most underrated guitar.
Is this Mike Ross who many years ago worked at GAK. Was a hell of a guitar player and sold me some epic guitars that have served me very well over the years! If it is, rock on Mike, hell of a player.
Was a thoroughly nice and knowledgeable guy too. Beyond pleased that he followed his dream and is out there sharing his music with so many. Rock on Mike. Look forward to catching you on tour!
@@nellyandbert I'd catch him sooner rather than later as the Mike Ross we know and love is regenerating himself and his music. The Mike Ross band as we know it will sadly be no longer. I can't wait to see what Mike brings to the table next; he's incredible as he is!
We’ve met Jared every time he comes to Nottingham and he always acknowledges us from the stage and spends time chatting to us at the interval and each time, he remembers us, it means the world to myself and my daughter. He’s a genuinely nice guy. The real deal. There’s not too many artists that would connect on such a personal level with fans. We’ll follow him forever. A true inspiration and ambassador for guitar. 🖤🖤🖤
I am so happy Pablo is playing the '65 Firebird that was in my personal stash for a long time and was never going to sell. That Bird has a history to tell and is is just oozing vintage love and tones....
Anyone know what pedal he used for the tight fuzz sound on Stand Tall or Restless Man. ?? He was using a gamechanger audio plasma pedal previously, it's my suspicion, but can anyone confirm? GREAT BAND
Hey pablo you're ready from the Time Space machine for those crazy 70. BtW do you notice a difference in strings tension between thèse two firebirds headstock.
That's a great point actually. He does say that one guitar feels like it has a "plastic layer" over top and isn't quite as bright sounding as the other. Maybe that's due to the different headstocks?
I discovered Dewolff when they supported Jared James Nichols at Rescue Rooms and just fell in love not only with the band but Pablo’s guitar sound and amazing playing. Had the privilege of seeing them at Bodega this week and was right on from row staring straight at Pablos fretboard right in front of my eyes! Amazing guy, amazing guitar player, amazing band! 🖤🖤🖤
DeWolff have been on our radar for a good few years now and last year was the first time we got to see them live. We're so glad that we got to do a rig rundown with Pablo. This was a great rundown and how cool was Pablo. Top man, top gear. I can't wait for their return.
*Let's not forget that Glen has really only achieved the success he's enjoyed through the actual fact that he was taught to play by Sid Vicious* *... ... and what a flatteringly lovely shot of him, here*
