That works if only one deaf. Often Zoom meeting includes like 3 deaf, and then 5 hearing persons..much easier if interpreter is part of the Zoom picture. Each deaf can get their own individual interpreter, but that is a whole lot more work and lot more arranging to be made. Try for a Zoom that includes interpreter, instead of separate. I had to hire an interpreter so I can get interpreter's phone number to be part of a business meeting that included several deaf and hearing persons. Worked out beautifully.

Isn't it limited to 30 days and no possibility of extending it? This has been the contentious issue for many Deaf people who travel internationally longer than 30 days or work in other countries being digital nomad, doing missionary work, studying at school,, etc. This has to be changed.

TRANSCRIPT: Wayne: Describe the year in one word. You can start. Jarrod: Boy, so many words come to mind. I think one word that describes 2022 would be “impact.” Seeing an impact on these who haven’t experienced a service that connects them with other humans through technology. They haven’t experienced that before. To be able to witness that has been thrilling. It gets chills up and down my spine. Wayne: I thought about the word I’ll pick and I’m basing it on my personal level and my experience working with you all at Convo globally and I think the word is “affirmation.” I chose that word because we’ve gone through a lot of changes - life, stuff, COVID, remote work and overlapping of movements going on, sometimes that can feel disassociating because this is such a new world, new days. But it also helps to remind us what the truth and affirmation is. Jarrod: I feel like the year 2022 really led us to get really focused on what we're doing here at Convo, for ourselves - it’s going to be an important year for our company, individuals, and on a personal level. So yeah, I agree with you.
