@@itsjebby9592 Back then, 10900K and RTX3090. Valve Index, 130% SteamVR resolution. Would use 80Hz mode in rain. This was captured at 720p in 120Hz mode with forced reprojection, so that's a flat 60fps which is ideal for capturing. *Now running a 12900k with RTX4090, 200% resolution at 120Hz. All the time 😁

Hi! These seats are soooo good! There's no flex, none. The support all around and especially the lumbar región is perfect. They are worth every penny eventhough it's a LOT of pennies 🫣 They bolt on from below, so I used two 40x40 cross bars and four 90° brackets to be able to bolt them on. I gave it a big rearward lean angle, the front is 80mm higher than the rear. I think I have the W2. The W4 looks interesting though! And the prices aren't as bad as they used to be (or as I recall 😅).
Played it in VR yesterday and was getting great framerates on my 3070ti. Game is pretty tough though and you have to really concentrate to stay on the track and one bump from the AI can send you out of the race. Is there a Le Man's track?

You inspired me to get an VR for AMS2, right now I have the rift s combined with a 3080. I love the game, this summer I was passenger on a taxi drive over the nordschleife. Afterwards got the vr, it is such a nice circuit on the vr! Now I’m able to drive it as much as I want.
Is the camera not centered i the video or it wasn't when you were driving as well? Since if you consider compared to the realistic position, the camera is a bit off center, towards the right, don't you think? Is there a way to always have it centered and well calibrated?
This is because you have choose which eye to capture in VR. It's always either left or right from center. I always choose right eye for clockwise tracks so you see more of the track. In tintops I choose right eye for LHD and left eye for RHD so you feel more centered in the car.
What a great memory, i was Duncan the race organizer . I did a lot of work to build a software which allows to set a race in practice and i was alone to handle the race. What a race !!

Nice video Remco! Is this the same AI update as the link on Racedepartment? If not could you please share the link because non of them work anymore. I already installed the new AI Spa 66 from racedep. but the cars do not drive away from the pits. Hope your version will make it better :)

Pretty damn quick too. It seems to improve after a restart or two. They also go out for quali laps so no issues there.
@@RemcoHitman just done with testing. You did a totally outstanding job!!!! Finally it’s fun to race against the AI on this iconic track. They drive good lines and finally they’ve stopped crashing into the barrier at start finish. Can’t thank you enough for your work AND your kindness!!
My heart jumps outside my body when I read GPL 2. This is rf2? What a days and races then before . Monza and Spa are the other great tracks. Very nice laps Sir.

Hey man, thanks! I'm not at all happy with my current setup as it underperforms massively in VR due to terrible nVidia support. I don't like AMD/ATI at all but this 3090 has been so badly supported in VR I'm reluctant to get warmed up for the next gen nVidia cards. I'd need to see flawless VR performance first.
@@RemcoHitman Well that's interesting and also disappointing. I was really hoping that a 4090 would solve every issue and provided 90fps locked in all weather conditions with multiple cars on track 😐
