Why- for the love of Pete- do we not put the sealed fill hole on the top? Every time I want to fill I have to pick it up(probably covered in poo) dump what’s left in the tray, take it outside, carry a funnel and fill it up????? Poo is inevitable, but why deal with picking the whole unit up and all the wasted water that will become an ice rink.
Cheaply made. Falls apart very easily and dumps gallons of water on yourself and the coop floor. It's flimsy and the top doesn't latch tight to the base. Also, don't hang it, it will leak. It Has to be level. I do NOT recommend this product at all. $50.00 wasted
Not happy with the big splash of water when you flip it over. Why? Why wouldn't you put hole in the top with a plug? Why does it fill the bottom tray with so much water that it wants to spill out even carrying it to the coop. Just purchased this and have it hanging in my coop. Hopefully the little plastic handle is up to the task. We shall see....
Complete CHGINESE MADE GRABAGE. Bought 3 of these on eBay and all 3 were "Dead on Arrival" and hassled with returning all 3 to the eBay seller (spreetail-deals). Save yourself a lot of hassle and by USA made that will last longer than the delivery time.
There's a serious problem with this incubator. I tested this incubator with a calibrated laboratory temperature probe through the ventilation holes at the level where the eggs are and I found an 11.3° temperature differential from one side to the other. As an engineer, I took it upon myself to find a solution to their poor design, and with a $20 Amazon order modification I turned this mediocre piece of Styrofoam junk into a precise working machine. Farm Innovators, if you want my solution to your problem you can have it for a reasonable fee.
Add water when humidity is too low, if already filled with water and RH% is still too low can use sponge to increase surface area of the water for evaporation.
@@ashleypayne6921hi there I am new to this but I I just bought this exact incubator to hatch my qauil eggs which are small so does that mean I can't use the tray that came with it already ...for the quail eggs do I have to get the other tray that he said in the video for qauil eggs
How accurate do you consider the built in hygrometer to be? +- 10%? Has your company actually used the built in temp and Hygrometer with decent hatch results? I’d like to see some stats and info on hatch rates if they are available. Thx
Just hatched our first chick! This process was super simple and we will have 19 chicks from our hens in the first batch of 22. Excellent system! Thanks!
I would set it on some bricks or a concrete block. Get it up in the air so they won't stand on the lip. Floor must be 100% level or water will dribble over the side and empty it in your coop.
Sheesh! I am not going to use a funnel! I do not have all day to fill 8 -10 waterers that way! Been using this type heated waterer for years. Just stick the hose nozzle over the hole and go full blast! Or better yet just use a black rubber feed dish and let the sunshine take over. Got ice in it...? Flip it over and stomp on it, flip it back upright and refill with fresh water. Much cheaper! (BTW - They should be getting fresh water everyday anyhow.)
*On my second batch of eggs🐣>**imgs.love/Farm-Innovator?Ќㅍ ** and it's trooping right along. Will put away for winter soon, hope it fires right back up in the spring.*
This will come in extremely handy on them cold nights when the water freezes. No more going out 1st thing in the morning to change out the water. Also even worse having to buy new plastic watering containers because the cold's and the freezing ice expansion cracks them all. This will definitely save money in time.
Great product, I love that this 1 holds 3 gallons as to some that just hold 1 gallon. This will make it a lot easier for people with more chickens to not have to fill twice a day. Also the cap on the bottom is another great idea that you have come up with. Some waterers out there you have to spin the top on and off every time, as time goes by the seal will break or go out making it leak between the clear plastic and the red plastic but with your cap feature it prevents leakage over time and makes it simple and easy to fill saving you time and hassle while also giving you a product that will have a quality that will last a long time.
