Your B9 effect output is connected to the SB+'s OUT A? Im looking for a switcher pedal to separate my Mel9's dry and effect outputs or use them simultaneously. And where does youR SB+ OUT B go to?
I used to go straight into the mixer with the two separate signals. Today I use the EHX Tri Parallel Mixer on the board. I also have a Fishman TriplePlay, which also goes into the EHX mixer.
This is the cheapest thing - look for something else! This thing is cool - if you want only 2 different volumes: www.thomann.de/de/electro_harmonix_cntl_knob_static_expr._pedal.htm Otherwise look for pedals with adjustable resistance. Most pedals are too smooth running. www.thomann.de/de/dunlop_volume_x_mini_pedal.htm www.thomann.de/de/dunlop_dvp5_volume_x_8_pedal.htm
I've been using Mel9 & Key9 live with Taylor guitars but now see the volume pedal is a game changer in sound quality! Thanks so much for this tip! (running to Amazon for volume pedal)
I no longer use a volume pedal on my current board. In many situations it is difficult to estimate the volume - so I rely on the markings on the knobs. The board is expanded with a Fishman Triple Play. In some situations I want to play the piano. All trough the Tri Parallel Mixer from Electro Harmonix. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iB2apJlcw5w.html
This is not a very good demonstration, Patrick. Why not tell us what you're actually doing? -You neglect to even tell us what settings you're using on the Mel9. And why include and combine any other pedals if it's a Mel9 demo? -Just purchased the Mel9 and this was useless to me.
The Mel9 makes a great background sound with the cello setting. Nice for acoustic guitars. Its nearly always on on my board. For some songs i use the B9 Organ Machine.
Mel9 an other EHX pedals sometimes produce a whirring sound when connected to the same power supply as other pedals. The first power supply that works for me without this background noise is Morer Macro Power. Since then, everything has been quiet on my board.
@@PatrickCebulla thanks for your fast reply I appreciate it, I’m just looking for the right power supply to power the MEL9 on a peddle boade I don’t think it will work with the Strymon Zuma I’m not sure I’m in the dark
Hello Patrick, I love this pedal demo. Your board layout is very cool. Please, what is the blue switcher/mixer pedal in the lower right corner of your board? Am I correct that it mixes your 3 EH pedals down to one mono signal?
Sir, would you supply a diagram with all stomps, devices, etc along with wiring diagram? As in how they're connected and routed to the final destination - our ears?
This is very similar to my current setup! Sounds awesome, I thought about splitting the signal to two amps so I could better separate the sound of the mel9 and line it up with my delay so I could have it trailing behind a little more or ad additional affects. Now I think I want the B9. No woman no cry sounded very cool
Is there a way to change the sounds of the Mel9 pedal mid performance (I'm looking to get a layered orchestral sound with a looper pedal and the Mel9 and I am planning to play fast guitar parts while bringing and layering on more and more sounds into the mix) will a Midi pedal switch work, or do I need to get a few more mel9 pedals so to get more sounds?
