Does anybody know...Is she using a flat pick which occupies her thumb and index finger, and uses her middle finger and ring finger to augment chords, or is it more complicated then that? Are there finger picks involved?
Trey is one of the best flatpickers I've ever heard and that is coming from a flatpicker who has been around a while. Wow, astounding. Additionally he is a great singer, arranger, and musician.
Thank you for these terrific clips from the festival. It’s so hard to stream festivals, logistically, but it’s a real gift to be able to watch the joy and energy of the festival season. Ideally via livestream but having video of performances is also terrific. Thank you for the extra work.
Keith is a great songsmith describing with vivid imagery as he takes us listeners into another realm even for a minute with authenticity. You can't compare him to any other musician in the past or present. H'e's definitely in a class of his own telling stories like his ancient people of the north.
