Hey, can you please tell me how far back we should look to analyze the market structure to determine if it’s in a bull or bear run? Also, if we start trading 30 minutes after the market opens, should we focus on the first 30 minutes of market structure, the last 4 hours, or the weekly structure? Thanks!
For those who can't be bothered doing the math, in order to make $4,200, this trade needed to start with *1000* units @ $2042.22ea, meaning that a total of $2,042,220.00 needed to be staked initially to make the claimed $4,200. If the trade was actually 10 units, as shown in the video, then the amount staked would have been $20,422.20 and profit would actually be $42, 1/100th as much as claimed. The context is important. $4200 is okay for a few hours work in the morning, but it's not without risk, and needs a $2M stake in order to be possible. One should also consider their risk tolerance and look into things like making sure stop-loss orders are _guaranteed_, lest one finds oneself in a situation where the market blows through the stop-loss position and you end up taking whatever price is available after all the front-runners have claimed the liquidity first. Guaranteed stop losses cost a premium.
At 42:51 when you speak about the London high being taken, that there's a high probability that price will continue moving up as long as it stays below the London low, I believe you meant to say above the London low, which makes perfect sense.
