@@fidegall that’s awesome! That’s an awesome idea, definitely before you get down to the composite toe! Thanks for watching! Hopefully you’ll get some more life out of them!
I recently purchased a 2414 during their crazy sale. They were $100, $110 out the door. I've always worn Thorogood religiously. When I tell you, I love my 2414 as much as Thorogood! Believe me, brother. Comparing both of those boots is impossible. Duro is a cheap copy. They offer free everything. Can you imagine the actual price of the boot. Take care of your feet, they're an investment. Your knees will thank you when you're older.
@@gregoriojuarez1579 oh wow that an insane sale price! The 2414 is like a $315 dollar boot out the door around here you definitely got an insane deal! And I definitely love my 2414’s too, the durodero Fargos definitely don’t come close to Redwing quality, they do look vaguely similar, but I won’t ever claim it’s the same at all. Durodero charges 250 bucks for the Fargo, but I know with Dominican Republic labor prices, they’re making these for probably 20 or 30 bucks a pair. That’s got to be how they’re able to afford to offer free everything, they have such a high profit margin off each pair! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video I was hoping someone would compare these two boots. I ordered the Duradero and they’ll be here in a couple of days. I was looking into getting the redwing before ordering the duradero so thanks again for making the video
@@BurritoSupreme_ you’re very welcome! As soon as I got my Duradero Fargos I knew the proper thing to do was do a review comparing the two, since I own both now! And since it’s a brand new model from Duradero made just like the Redwing 2414’s I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching! And I hope you’ll like your Duradero Fargo’s!
Cool boots I've never owned thorogood boots, but I wanna try em.do you think the bottom tread would wear fast?the thorogoods I have my eye on has the same pattern.im a laborer at a landfill in illinois with brutal winters..any advice would be helpful. Thanks for the video.
@@bradburke8363 Thorogood USA boots are awesome, and are as comfortable as a pair of sneakers. They are the easiest to break in, and are pretty comfortable right out of the box. For landfill work in the brutal winters of Illinois I would recommend a a Thorogood that is insulated and waterproof with a vibram outsole. This sole while nice and squishy and bouncy, it works best on dry concrete or dry ground. I would recommend model 804-4520. That’s an insulated waterproof boot with the 90 degree heel but it has a nice vibram outsole that will wear longer in that condition. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
I’ve watched a few of your boot videos recently, you have similar boots/videos as mine. I have these exact same boots, and the tongue is a bit of an issue. I’ll tell you though you having wider legs/ankles actually help those tongues out A LOT compared to someone like me that has wide feet but skinny ankles. The tongues won’t sit right at all if you have skinny ankles. But I do love these boots!! I have the soft toes, my son has the steel toes. Keep up the good work! Love boot videos where people actually work in the boots and can talk about real world performance.
@@doublebase6509 oh awesome yeah the tongues do seem to be a consistent problem lol. But I can see why they wanted to put the waterproof liner all the way up the tongue as well to further prevent water from soaking through the tongue and making your socks wet. Which would be far more annoying than a tongue not wanting to cooperate lol. Definitely will be rolling out the boot videos, thanks for watching! Glad you’re enjoying the videos!
I think your onto something with that duradero boot with that red stitch..I wear a redwing 2414 and they are built very close which is good.but damn is that coincidence or just weird.great video and keep up the great content.
@@bradburke8363 oh for sure I will thanks for watching, and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah I think there is something going on there. There wouldn’t normally be red stitching thread left over in that specific place for nothing I wouldn’t think lol.
@@JamieHughes-v1v oh yeah they didn’t have the switch locked out like they were supposed to but still had to notify dispatch before they moved the switch lol.
@@AndreaOwnn No problem! Yeah that’s my next purchase is going to be a mic that clips on to my shirt when the funds will be available. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
@@hunterprowsemrereviews9141 Thanks for the reply. Someday I’ll get brave enough to make my own videos and I’m sure I’m gonna have the same issues. Lol. You are very welcome.
@@AndreaOwnn yeah no problem I try to reply to as many comments as I can! Gotta stay engaged with the viewers lol. Yeah the whole RU-vid videoing thing is definitely a process. You’ll discover many things that make it hard for a good video to be made. But you have to realize that everyone has to start somewhere, and it’s always going to start off with the bare minimum of filming equipment lol. The main thing is to never get discouraged on making videos. As you progress along, you’ll learn how to make better and better videos. And also don’t let lack of views, lack of subscribers, or mean comments discourage you. Views, and subscribers will come with time. It just takes time. I’ve been doing this for years. And you have to realize how big RU-vid is, and how many other creators, and videos there is for people to watch. It’ll take time for people to discover you.
I bought my 1910 new in 1986. Its the 2wd, no power steering version. I have just underb2400 hrs. on it. It has served me well overbthe years. Its on its 3rd water pump and I replaced all the tires 2 yrs ago. I would buy another one if I could but with 4wd, loader, and power steering. I've had no engine problems.
My only complaint with ours so far is when you put a load on the loader it seems like the power steering quits which is the odd, because that’s when you need the power steering the most! But over all it’s a handy little tractor. Thanks for watching!
Back when big-bore 4x4 atv's were coming out (grizzly 660, prairie 650) and lift kits for them, I rode a KX250 with a fresh soft terrain every other ride. 2 quads couldn't get through this mudhole that were built for mudding. Just for the hell of it I took my bike through and made it lmao. Throwin roosts about 40ft in the air and my bike looked like it was doin a wheelie.....but I made it! Made the quad riders look like idiots 😂😂 Bikes don't bottom out.....in some mud, there's many types
Hell yeah! Never underestimate the power of bikes! This one is a CRF-450RX and it’s a literal tank! Awesome story man, we have a blast with it every time!
@hunterprowsemrereviews9141 hell I'm 40 and have a blast everytime I take my YZ250 out (2-stroke guy). I like 450's, make a lot of $ on them (rebuilds, valve adjustments), the power is crazy, but I'm actually faster (on a track) on a 250 2-stroke. When Yamaha came out with the first 450 in '03 (yeah I'm old) it was a 4-spd woth stock gearing would hit 90+mph.....with the front tire in the air. Have fun, always wear a helmet (concussions suck!) and boots!
Oh yeah for sure lol and I remember well when the Yamaha 450 came out lol. I’ll be 33 this April. 250 two strokes are definitely quicker they’re a blast as well they’re all a blast I think! Yep gotta be safe hospital bills ain’t cheap riding gear is cheaper lol 😂!
Mine currently the battery is down either it’s bad or just needs a good charge, but that’s what I love about the ol Fourtrax’s you can kick start them if you’re having battery trouble. Something you definitely can’t do with a brand new one these days. Mainly cause they’re electronic fuel injection, which is nice when it works right, but there is no such thing as kick start on one of them anymore.
