I believe that, if used appropriately, this tool can lead to some incredibly creative images. I don't believe that the purpose of this tool is to use it to create a single image all on it's own. I feel it's meant to enhance, embellish, and evolve your own images. I'm fairly certain that throughout time, the users of tools that existed prior to technological advances felt the same way as the commenter below (portrait painters probably felt that cameras would end the world of art) but the thing to remember here is that people see things differently, and how they choose to portray what they see is what makes it original. It's how you use the tool that makes it creative - not the tool itself!
Love it. Right on point. The entire AI topic has been controversial in many industries and couldn't be any different in our own. Like any tool, needs to be carefully used. I do think we're very lucky to be leaving in times when we can see all of these things coming up. I love it!! Thanks for commenting. Cheers.
I think it takes a lot away from creativity. All it does is use other images that were installed into the AI library. It is like Googling an image and changing it to create an image. It is not your photography and you are letting Adobes library create it for you. It is amazing, but I feel it lacks originality.
I agree with you 100%. AI will never replace a good photographer. Some genres of photography might get impacted, but AI will never shoot a wedding. When I look at these emerging technologies, I think where it will be 10 years down the road. As a content creator, I'll probably use this feature for illustrations and such. Cheers.
Ai doesn’t work like that. It doesn’t “copy/paste” other images or collage them into a new one. Nonetheless, it’s a tool, and the amount of creativity involved is up to the user. Obviously, if you just generate an entire image in one go, and call that “my art”, there’s no actual creativity there. But anyone who would do that was never a creative person to begin with. As someone who photographs their own ceramic work in a very small space, this technology has been an incredible tool to “extend” the sides of my background when they aren’t wide enough for me to get a proper image of larger work without my workspace peeking out of the sides. Fixing that before took WAY more time. An amusing fact: Way back in the 90’s when photoshop first introduced “layers”, so many photographers and graphic artists complained that it was unnecessary and “You should be able to do everything in ONE layer!” 😂
@@l.e.phillips Love it and thank you for bringing up the layer debate in PS. When I started using PS, layers were a thing already. Any new technology will bring up these types of debate, especially in the photography field. AI in PS has been a great addition. I'm also using it a lot to extend backgrounds, especially when designing albums for my clients. It's been a huge helper and time saver. Thanks for bringing your POV to the discussion.
Good day mister, today i find video about light. And randomly find your chanel. And this video a second what i try look. Before was few more try. And in all yours video.... Quality of sound, is absolutely terrible... This sounds like a radio 40 years old or more... Please, if u can fix this trouble as soon u can do this. Because without quality sound yours video dont have any value. With all regards. Have a nice day
A big problem is that many photographers don't spend time learning the business of photography. If you're in business and take the most beautiful images but can't sell/book, it's just a very expensive hobby.
I have a question sir. How do you send those 5 images to your clients if you don't send a gallery? What do you do if they want more than 5 images. Thank you in advance. I'm rewatching the video and making notes
Hi Gabriel. Thank you for your question. Maybe I didn't make myself clear. They get the images on an online gallery AFTER the IPS session. Does that answer your question?
@@claysouzaofficial thank you sir, got it👍🏼 and if they want more than 5 images, do they choose them at the IPS? Or do you send the rest of the images in the gallery with a watermark so they can choose later? Sorry to keep asking questions
@@gabrielgomez4162 No need to apologize. These are all good quetions. I've had both situations where they pick right after the IPS and where they pick it later. If they decide to pick it later, I send them the gallery with a watermark and download disabled.
Clay - thank you for these posing tips and Dani is a beautiful model! I am doing a shoot with Breezy this afternoon and will keep these in mind. (this is Maureen, we met you at Shutterfest). If you can do some videos about lighting, using Magmod for "epic" shots, I would appreciate it!!
Hello Maureen. So good to hear from you. I'm glad the live was helpful. I'll start shooting outdoors but need more daylight. Currently at 8pm is pretty dark already. In the meantime, look at this post where I explain my light setup instagram.com/p/CWk3wkhKMt3/? I hope it helps. Feel free to get a hold of me on IG anytime you want. @claysouzaofficial. Cheers. :)
@@claysouzaofficial just seeing this and thank you so much. I am loving your videos....keeping it simple with common sense and your results are beautiful!
