Definitely I hate the title cause I believe that LOVE IS EVERYTHING. I've watched it and I could have stayed through as long as I and my partner are in faith. However if they decide to go apart it can still be considered as LOVE. Love is not all about just sweet or temporary feelings. . .it is a decision; "taken in spite of". . .and for the good of all (family and aquitances). They could do adoptions if they want.
pushing pause. This husband is bordering on narcisstic sadistic manipulative domestic abuse. His strength only lies on the fact that he is a male. He is acting like a 12yr. old. He hasn't a clue what it means to be a man. what does he think withdrawing and controlling. and subjugating his wife will prove. He doesn't know how to be a man. no insult but I would have done just what his wife done. paying her back for eating because your not eating. enough is enough. he is frustratingly me , now, power and control. is she his toy? grudging, condemning and treating her like a wind up doll, then ...oh who cares anyway about this marriage ...i don't think I can manage looking at 100+ more clips of this abuse. watching this is oppressive.
Observations & Suggestions: the husband is very immature. his intellect and status as Bible study teacher says nothing about nor does it reflect his relationship with God. how can one have a marriage without first having a close walk with God? it doesn't matter how much scripture one knows or what degrees and occupation, he doesn't even know or do what the Word says about what a husband is...the wife is immature as well, trying but she will need to step up her prayers or she will walk away from the marriage and still be in the house. She must learn to make it a home, she too needs the Lord God to make sure that it happens. In my opinion, neither one was ready for marriage. too soon . They already need a marriage counselor, the Lord God, or classes for newlyweds. where are their workers in the Church? His mother is a good reference. Parents serve as examples positively or negatively. Oh well, looking forward to seeing how everything goes. I think the first 3yrs of marriage is challenging for every couple. keep God in the center of it all. There is potential to grow, it takes years of work. lol. I only started to watch this series, today. l. I'm learning 2. I'm praying. 3. God is my counsel. Jesus as our example; in order to be a good leader one must also know how to be a good servant. Brethren, we must pray and study the Word with each other before marriage...and during marriage. it's a ministry not to be taken lightly... Singles must ask and seek God to mold them into a husband or into a wife. preparation, counseling, workshops, mentoring couples are key. Question: Who will take up the task to provide pre-marital programs? thank you. forgive me, I can be loquacious most times...lol. to God be the glory. ...great storyline and teachings, outstanding talent, superbly acted & casting and cinema amazing.
