I don't like Pot cards in Dragunity. I value my main deck cards too much, since there are a lot of 1-ofs. Also, I value all my extra deck cards, so even you wanna play something like Prosp, you would just go for 3 instead of 6. I don't think Pot cards are worth it in our deck and I'd rather play Small World instead.
You can definitely play more Tactics, if you want, ofc. I'm just not used to playing with tactics in MD, since I have to make room for the Maxx C package, which limits the number of non-engine I could play. That's all. In that side deck, I put it at 1 because I could search it with thrust and, most likely, I would only ever get 1 use out of Tactics, in a game, anyway.
A bit out of field, but considering how dragunity used Crimson Dragon: will the new blue eyes Spirit ultimate dragon affect dragunity as a viable target?
It's a decent card, but if we're going to cheat out a Lv.12 Dragon Synchro monster, with Crimson Dragon's effect, we have a better target in " Cosmic Blazar Dragon ".
The idea was to maximize my starters. Plus, Senatus is a hand trap magnet. Dux is unfortunately very slow, atm. You're better off with a 2nd Guisarme, tbh, which the better Normal Summon.
WARNING: This is just my opinions as a non-TCG player. DO NOT take this as an optimal way to play in TCG! This is how I would start MY TCG journey, if I decided to start playing NOW (unlikely). I would optimize as I continue playing, of course. I probably didn't take into consideration many TCG specific stuff, so be nice! :D Fun facts: - Nibiru + Small World = Remus access [Nib (hand) ---- same 600 DEF ----- Senatus (deck) ---- same WIND attribute ---- Remus (search)] - You can search Mourner with Crystal Clear Wing. - Seyfert + Phalanx = Remus access.
You're the 1st person I see who says this deck is boring. Have you tried learning it and playing it, recently? Because only half our disruptions are Negate effects. The other half has other layers of disruptions that are not Negates (bounce, destruction, banishing, etc.). Or, maybe the deck isn't for you, which is fine. I hope you have fun playing in Edison format. :)
Tbh, I can't say for sure, because I only played it for a few games, to change the pace, at the time. But, for those games, it did pretty well, I would say.
@@royt024 The Rokket engine and the Borrelend are just there in case the Dragunity combo can't go off, in some cases. Tbh, you can cut them and play any other engine x)
True I have test other dragon types because 9/10 times you’ll be locked into dragons so I’ve been trying to red dragon archfiend and stardusts. But to have a tower like borrelend would be nice too lol just you be locked into dark dragons

Well done. Dragunity has always been one of my favorite archetypes in the game, we’re blessed to have duelists like you that put in the work to keep dragunity meta relevant to the extent that you do. I used your build as a framework to build my own deck, and it hits like crack. I also appreciate that there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to playing dragunity like this because of how you built it. This deck was built to be as flexible as it is powerful, so piloting it takes a fair bit of improvisation on the players part. it ain’t like most modern yugioh decks that practically play on autopilot with the same scripted combo lines, tho that’s a different conversation for another day lol. Keep up the good work brother
Crafty have you tried using Dragunity knight trident? I’m messing around with him to thin out my opponents extra deck. It’ll be cool if you come up with a deck with him being usable

That strategy hurts us, since we move a lot of cards, and activate a lot of cards, from our GY, and they tend t oplay floodgates, too. If that decks becomes more prevalent, on ladder, I simply play backrow hate like Harpie's and 2x or 3x Lightning Storm.
I'm surprised you started with Dragunmaid then Dragunity like me. I even tried combining them together. Do you think they really work? XD Btw, congrats on 1k subs.
I have combined them. It's fun but they don't really mix other than being dragons. I found it was mostly the Dragunity combo but use gae dargh to put your maid into the grave
bro i feel like a traitor i COMPLETELY forgot how to play dragunity. I been playing too much ghoti and volcanic, my ass has to relearn everything besides remus combo up to samsara activation.
