There is one missing, at 0:24 in c0ld st0rage the synth plays the motif, just the break is changed - as opposed to the original motif that goes: 1-2-345 C0ld st0rage goes: 1-2-3---451-2-3-4 Shuffling things around a bit and looping it.
Honestly i never hear it in the scrapper, i think people r crazy, its only going between 3 notes, one note, one note a step higher, one 2 steps lower, then back 2 steps up to the same note, and repeats, it does not sound like the onward leitmotif and i will die on this hill. i get where people r trying sooo hard to pull it from, but its not the same
I've been calling this the "Octarian Motif" up to now for lack of a better name. Love that the Scrapper machine has it too since the Salmonids are using Octarian tech. Also love that the motif shows up all over Side Order since Memverse was designed by Marina and parameterized by the Octarian Engineers.
I think you are actually missing one here, although its so brief I cant blame anyone for missing it! It plays in one of the songs from the ∞-ball levels (2ouvenir). About 49 seconds in and again at 53 seconds and then a few more times. It plays really fast, like, less than a second each time and they remix it so that it sounds pretty different. I only noticed it today after listening to the songs again!
I love this video, and I love YOU. Thank you for compiling this short but catchy leitmotif. It’s weirdly danceable, too. It just makes me want to move… onward.
