Family of 5, pop up camping, cooking and how to's.
On this channel you'll follow us outdoors as we explore Upstate Outside and share inspiration and camping tips. Sharing our thoughts on gadgets we use, and putting our own spin on camp cooking.
I have such a soft spot for these types of campers. My parents and my grand parents took my sister and I camping every summer when we were kids in a camper just like this. We would travel all over Michigan, over the border to Ontario to Rondeau and up to Tweed and over too Wisconsin. :)
Love this!! We’d love to venture out a little further ourselves. Pop up’s are unique and you can get some really cool spots you wouldn’t normally be able to access with an RV.
Yes they sure do! We are going to try that plastidip since the magnet should still be strong enough to hold the fishing poles. Would probably work well to holding cushions to the back of a fishing boat!
Wow! This was definitely not your first rodeo! What a great setup with Bluetti power pack, solar panels, great cooking equipment, not to mention the meals, which looked absolutely delicious. Gave your wife a nice break. The kids are so cute. Looked like everyone had nice camping experience.
We are camping again soon and I’ll touch upon it! Unfortunately I do not think this table is available for purchase. It’s a Thule table and it looks like it’s only sold in Australia from a quick search I just did. The previous owner had it installed but it’s possible it was a standard item on this trailer.
Finally finally finally... an actual camping trip with the family. I'm so tired of setup and review videos. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family.
I would totally break out a bar of soap (biodegradable of course) but I actually think they mean Sun Bathing. Great post guys, looks like you had a nice trip.
great videos! question are you happy with your somerset? thinking of getting one for our family, hard to find on used market in florida. shame aliner stopped this line, for those of us with more than 5, its the only option. anyhow, thanks and cheers
We love it! We had our heart set on the somerset because of the metal exterior, that it’s lifted off the ground (more peace of mind in bear country, haha), king beds on each end, sleek look. Solid build. They are hard to find I agree, we got pretty lucky that the previous owner was within a couple hours of us.
You all are Tetris masters!! 🤩👏🏼 We recently found your channel. You are killing it! Great content & video quality. So glad to see people out there enjoying pop up camping and showing others how to rock it.

Happy we found this, they grow up in a blink of an eye! We look back and wonder if working sooo much was worth it. My reccomendation is DONT. Best of luck!
Beautiful spot and great gear. Chopping wood in Crocs is causing me to wince though. Please at least xonsider closed toes, I'm guessing you're a long way from a hospital
When storm Fiona hit we stayed in our pop up and weathered it through. When others went home to washed out roads and downed trees. We had some good times in that pop up. 😊
we actually later found out we had a tornado that hit a nearby lake where we were.. with three littles in tow we decided the truck was safer than the pop up! weather turned out great after the storm rolled through and we had a great trip!
Hello thanks for your videos!! What stove are you using when percolating your coffee? Thank you for highlighting Wegmans!! I work for Wegmans for 34 years , so I love Wegmans lol
We use the Jet Boil stove because of the compactness and portability of it, space is limited in the pop up! we also got a great deal on it when we purchased it. we also have a Coleman butane stove that was great but when we went fall camping it would struggle in the cold weather. Thank you for watching and we love Wegmans too and are fortunate enough to have them everywhere!
Good video's. You really do a great job cooking. What type/brand knife do you use to cut your meat and vegetables? It appears to be really sharp. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you! We really enjoy cooking and eating delicious meals while at the campground. Believe it or not the knife is a $10 cuisnart knife from target. And it is exceptionally sharp for the price point!
Haven’t tried it yet but it’s on the to do list! We were actually talking about bringing our cast iron pan with us to give that a go. Thanks for watching!
This may be an odd question. But have you ever tried baking homemade bread on the campfire? i did it last weekend. It was the best bread i have ever tasted.
We have not tried that before but I have seen other videos of people doing it and it does look pretty easy. We may have to try that out soon. Thanks for watching!
