I have been on anti psychotic med seroquel for 18 years. However my symptom is leaning towards adhd. I am trying to taper seroquel but having a difficult time with adhd symptoms.

@@jackkharlow6722 Hi buddy, I'm no mental health professional or psychotherapist but I'd say that qualifies as impulsive behaviour! I'm a Video Producer who made this video for Harley Therapy, head over to their channel for more professional help and advice ru-vid.com best wishes, Steve
The Trillion people suffering from ADHD it find it upsetting to see only 16,000 plus views. People seriously need to because self educated and do research they is why we are in such a mess with the huge numbers of people suffering. No. 1 issue is baby childhood vaccination. The toxic in the vaccine sure do cause problems in the brain then there is food additives. Counsellor seem to over look these issues and dismiss them. If a vaccines can kill and brain damage babies and children then why do they over look ADHD which has risen to huge no's as the vaccine schedule has increase since 1986 when the industry was granted immunity.
Always worth asking to see someone else. If your in the UK sadly you have to really keep going back and insisting on the NHS now if you feel your not being taken seriously. Best wishes.
Someone finally said it! I've been given medication for depression and bipolar disorder. The medications made me feel so much worse. I stopped taking them and I feel better, but I still can't concentrate and forget things.
I was a meth addict. So after i stop using meth, it completely change my behavior. i had a hard time to think, Concentrating, forgetful, doing the things that i love, fear, anxiety, sleepless, restlessness etc... What should i do? I'm sad with my life..
Could you please speak normally, with a constant volume, instead of randomly switching between whispering and normal talking in the middle of your sentences. It's extremely annoying, I'm having to adjust the sound volume all the time.
So if you were diagnosed with adhd as a kid and now your main symptoms are depression anxiety and low self esteem, adhd medication could fix those issues more then just a anxiety or depression medication?
Hi, sorry I wouldn't be able to advise as we are just the video production company that made the videos for Harley Therapy in London. Please get in contact with them as they are very helpful. Thanks for watching.
I got diagnosed this year. I am 28 years old. Tried SSRI's and other meds before getting diagnosed. ADHD, Anxiety and Depression all go together. The way I see it, Anxiety and Depression are usually the concequences of an ADHD mind. Procrastination, not being able to follow with your plans, not living up to your potential, being late in paying bills and etc. Any sane person would be depressed and anxious under those circumstances. That's why ADHD meds are helpful. Other meds are like having an aspiring when you have cancer. Yeah, it might help with the pain, but it's not tackling the cause of the issue. ADHD meds didn't cure my depression or anxiety, but it's a tool which finally allows me to concentrate and tackle all the issues which were bothering me.
Yes, mind is definitly less free, also some might get depression when meds go off, so you really need to talk to a real doctor if u are dealing with these meds
I am not a Dr. Just someone with ADHD (diagnosed in my 40's). I would say medication is a big part of it. It wont change your mind about who/what you think you are as a person, it will help you regulate impulsiveness and your mood in general. I think though one needs to really redefine oneself under the ADHD lens. Many , many problems or shortcomings in my life are directly caused by my ADHD habits/inclinations. So if i compare myself to a *normal* person, I often feel inadequate. But when I examine myself with the lens of ADHD, I realize that it does impair me and that I just have to adapt and change my actions to allow me to overcome the shortcomings attributed to ADHD. I have found this gentleman to be a shining light on my understanding of my ADHD. Good luck to you! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_tpB-B8BXk0.html&ab_channel=AdhdVideos
I like how if we don't reside ourselves to a mind numbing existence, we have ADHD. Well I am going to write off 90% of the population as mentally disabled as they don't think for themselves, and are as entertaining and personable as blank wall
