i had a dk24, its the ONLY guitar that i regret selling, i have other favourite guitars but the necks on these are fantastic. WHEN i rebuy one ill probably get a dk22 though. such nice guitars though
Hello you were saying around 4:15 that there is a splitter that makes it possible to split the sound to speakers and digital output if our mixer does not have extra Quarter inch main out ports. Do you know a link I could use to buy the splitter I need?
Stagg cymbals are kinda like wuhan . 80/20bronze made in wuhan too. But more model and mm uch higher end. I use wuhan stagg and kazsa or kasza another similar b20 chineese brand🎉 just look hundreds models stagg has. Amazon sells most them. Great value for cost🎉
Interesting. The processed sound is really nice and crisp, but I like the unprocessed sound more for your voice. The processed one would require further post-processing for removal of unintended mouth sounds (example -> 6:43 etc.).
Great video man. Just getting our small church going. You have a similar set up that we are going to be having. What a huge help to see. Especially the sound section ! Much thanks 🙌.
Hey Eric, this has really been helpful! Do you have an idea on how to create two separate mix for the church live sound and for streaming sound without having to break a buck? Thank you in advance.
It's an uncomfortable position being between wanting your $1000 Stratocaster to not buzz anymore and people telling you "that's just how Strats sound". I say this as someone who tolerated the original neck for years until the frets became worn down and some gouges resulted in me purchasing a new maple neck from Fender. I spent hours trying to set it up correctly to not sacrifice playability for clear notes and I could never achieve this. Notes buzz through amp and/or are affected enough acoustically to suppress note sustain through the amp. I then took it to 2 different luthiers in my area to do a fret level and crown job, neither of which resulted in improvements. Buzzes, even on open strings, remained after the luthiers gas lighted me, telling me this was normal. It was up to me to figure the root issue after 2 years and this whole time, the neck couldn't be straitened!!! It needed a proper fretboard leveling job this entire time. An unlevel fretboard will not curve properly with string tension, not matter how level the frets are. Not only is it baffling to me that neither luthiers caught this, but that Fender would sell a neck in this condition. Years of trusing people who know more than me and hundreds of dollars spent further on luthier tools to attempt a fix myself, I called Fender and all they did was pass me back to local luthiers in this cycle of injustice.
I just spent 1k on a capri orange Japanese limited international Strat. The old guy I bought it from got it from someone who got it on ebay. It wasn't set up for shit so I had to take it in. I'm hoping when i get it back I do not regret buying it but I really love it.
What if you have to play like a Pre recorded video, like an announcement video from your PC to your mixer through the audio interface. How would you go about that
Mine was Limited Edition Player from Reverb, must have got lucky, no real major issues like yours. Actually, wish I had waited for newer Player 2's with the rosewood fretboard. At least you got yours for a bargain my friend.
Hi Eric! I found that this video is really helpful! 1 question: where that two quarter inch cable at the back end of the focusrite go? (I’m still learning here😅) Thanks bro
hi, I also have a focusrite, but the audio is stuck in the interface. it does not come out my computer or in the live stream. it's only in the headphones connected to the focusrite. how do I make the sound come out of my laptop ?
As someone who owns one, I agree. You can fix the trem by knowing how to set it up right, but there's no reason to buy one over a classic vibe, unless you find it for $250 at a pawn shop like I did.
Could the soundboard output be directly put in the mic input of the laptop (with a cable that would have a mini-jack on the other end) in order to avoid the analog/digital audio interface? Or is it a bad idea?
Totally agree. I have a 2021 American Professional ii, a 2022 Fender Player and a 2021 Squire 50s Classic Vibe. The Classic Vibe holds it's own. Great sounding guitar, plays fantastic, just bit bit heavier than the other 2 but just as darn good. For some people it's hard to get passed the Squire logo but man, if you can, you have a guitar that is 90% equal to it's counterparts. Totally love my Squire.
Thank you for explaining this so aptly. My question is about onscreen words of a song. Usually for normal every day meetings online I can do "share screen' then go into presentation mode on canva or PowerPoint. But I do not understand know how to do it foe the setup in a church so thw people sitting in the live audience see the words of the song on the monitors. I vet ita simple but I just haven't wrap my head around it. Help. Thank you
Thank you for your review, Eric. I saw this video a few days ago and today I was finally able to try the guitar in my local guitar shop today. It is the most versatile guitar I've ever played in terms of tones. I am definitely getting one of these next.
@@meagainokay7673thanks , already bought a fender strat made in japan elemental limited edition HH split coil...it s perfect ,more into charvel style and sound , not a big fan of split coil don t use it very often. The problem with headstock breaking of the gibs made me take this decision🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
Great video. I do have one question. The ¼ in cables coming out of the Focusrite, where are they going? I know that usb goes to the laptop and the cables in come from the board, but where are the out cables going?
I had a Charger years ago that simply wouldn’t stay in tune…but I loved the neck. I’m ordering this HH model because if it stays in tune along with the coil splitter they added…it will take the place of my ESP Horizon (which I love) as my got to guitar. It’s just that damn neck is unlike anything I’ve ever played. It feels nicer than my Strat. I actually have a Schecter that has a great neck but it has active EMG pickups. Anyway maybe I’ll come back and tell you guys if it stays in tune because I’m sure everyone reading this is curious…more likely I just bored people to death with my mini novel. Sorry it’s late and I’m excited to get a new guitar!!!! Charvel baby!!!
There's 1 player series that I think is worth it right now (to me), and its the current Player Limited Edition in black with the gold pickguard, roasted maple neck, and the custom shop fat 50's pickups that is currently on sale on the Fender site for $787, which I think is a pretty good deal. I actually returned an AmPro ii due to QC issues right out of the box, and I think its just something that comes with the territory no matter where the guitar is made these days.
Good review - have the SP. agree the Keeley was more articulate. But the noise floor! Didn’t read all the reviews but the noise is bugging me with the SP. and the Kelley wasn’t quiet either. Sigh. Compressors can do that, and amplify any signal / guitar noise. But I’m not sure the compression is worth it with that buzz! I could even hear it when you were playing - as I do when I’m using the SP. 😩
I hate to tell you that no neck plate is not a modern thing. It's been done a very long time. I had a guitar using just bolts back in 1991. It was not as common, but its not modern.
Can you explain to us the specific settings for the microphone with the mixer you have? Because I have a mixer from Bia company and it is not in harmony with the microphone as the 48 light is radiating in red. Please help me and thank you.
I'm no shredder, hell I'm barely a guitar player, but I have a Charvel with Fishman Fluence pickups and when playing lead, it's on of my favorites. I have Gibson, Fender, PRS, and I love them all but playing lead on the Charvel just adds something to it.
FYI there have been returned guitars where people swap parts. It’s hard enough dealing with the quality from the OEM now contending with peoples evil dishonest actions.
