I have a Malamute/Husky/Lab/Wolf mix (rescue from up north) and for a while we thought she was kinda slow. She'd mainly jog around when playing with the other dogs at the park and seemed to have more of a quick trot that a run. That was until she got loose once to chase a rabbit....... literally the fastest I've ever seen any dog move. It's all about proper motivation lol
Yea he's not even trying, looking at the running form. I guess this is the long distance sort of canter, rather than a full-on sprint? I wonder how fast they can run really.
Human tells a husky they ran a marathon. Husky asks A) How heavy was the sled? B) Why did it take you so long? C) Why did you only run the one marathon? I usually run two.
She live outside during the day, in the night come inside. Then, she walk few kms daily. Also she love to run in a front of my car up to the main road. She is a free soul
My husky that looked just like this one, scared me when I gave her a very large bone to chew on, and to my amazement she just crunched it up and ate it before I could take it away from her. This thing was the thickness of a human leg bone. She had no ill effects from this.
Thanks for not adding crap music to the video. I remember trying to race someone's husky back in 2002 we were out camping near Pagwa Ontario, and it was about 1km back to camp. I was a university 1km runner, raced against some top guys in the province back then, so I was up around 7 m/s, and this dog looked like he was having a leisurely stroll in the park, needless to say, the dog won the race. I had no clue of course that they are capable of going twice as fast.
I’d do this with my husky but, I’d never catch her again. Our husky is a fantastic girl and listens very well when indoors or in the fenced backyard but, when she senses freedom, so goes deaf...lol
i don't know if your speed is correct but, that husky has about 30% throttle left judging by her posture. AND this was in mild temps....they get faster the colder it gets
