Funny enough, I got into fighting games in early 2020 for the exact same reason, after they first announced it as Project L. It took them longer than I expected, but it's been a cool journey. There's a lot to love about every subgenre, and 2XKO is definitely a special mix. I hope the process is as fun to you as it's been for me.
Just randomly came across this in my recommendations. This is great to hear! There's a lot of games and resources for getting good, as well as a lot of communities like discords and such with a bunch of people to play against, even for older games. My only recommendation is to remember the phrase "You gotta get washed in order to get clean", as I believe you do have to experience heavy losses as part of the process, but they only make you stronger. Other than that I'll tell you to just do you, as I feel like everyone has their own path and methods, so do what you gotta, and the best of luck!
I know its not popular at all, but Power rangers battle for the grid is probably the best game to prepare for 2XKO, aside from that one BBtag is really similar too, and when it comes to more popular games it becomes harder, probably skullgirls or Dbfz
being new at fighting games and start off by playing MVC is not good recommendation in my opinion cuz u said ur cassual, u should start with like guilty gear strive or something modern and easier or if u wanna go crazy maybe skullgirls or dragon ball fighters z, since at least these games are tag team games and they will get u ready to what to expect from 2XKO
@@HumanArtifact71 its fun, but online ppl are insane lol and the game is hard, so yea good that u played offline first to test it, cuz going online might turn u off, and good luck i did sub to the channel i will try to help u throw comments
@blastingpew I made it to match six on the computer A.I . And I'm kinda liking rouge and iron man. But don't know about my third yet. Also online scares me because people have been playing the game for years so I might get stomped. Also thanks for the subscribe.
Yeah, you are contractually bound to play AOC 😤😤😤😤 the other MMOs not so much, but AOC yes 😤😤 im not personally interested in fighting games, but i will try to watch some of the videos and streams 🤔 im just here to support you, good luck getting good
Game was good for me and wanted to play. It was ruined by haters, current trends, the two companies involved and wallet warriors. I have seen much worse still running, New World for example. The only solution is the Larian/indie model, but completely ignoring "feedback" except for bugs and technical issues. For a mmorpg, it's hard to really make it with low money.
DT will be better than EW. Those are not actual spoilers because no one has experienced it yet... To me Yoshi is just teasing and getting everyone hyped.(If nothing was posted people would be asking) Let's keep our eyes on Chro Od. Ashes of creation is just really slow on the creation, but let's see maybe that will benefit the game. Blue Protocol Bombed 💣 the moment they quit during the pan dem. There was no recovering from that nuke they did. I'll expect blade and soul 2 before blue protocol. A similar game was PSo2 . They took generations to have an English version... I really mean generations. The other games coming from NC look better than T&L. Nobody will play this game after the auto play stunt they pulled. Forgot to add.. WOW got this fake link character on the presentation.... Let's be serious.... Where's the originality? That other game looks interesting 🤔
I would like to put something to rest although Synchro monster did start the down fall. When they first came out they were not the problem it's was still very possible to play a deck completely without them and you can take them down pretty easy. The game TRULY went to shit when XYZ came out because with those cards came the ability to flood the field with monster. Synchros were like ritual monsters but one of the monster was the spell. XYZs didn't have that limit any 2 monster with the same level can be used to summon something. Now we have this Rush dual BS that's so dumb it's pretty widely accepted to be bad.
Hey Artie! My MMOs for 2024 are: Second Alpha Test for Pax Dei. Alpha 2 for Ashes of Creation. Pre-Alpha Seasons for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. Probably some spot testing for Monsters and Memories. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I am pretty sure there's some kind of pattern here.
Best mmo for release is TL, except role class, p2w and market, everything else is a gem. Graphics, performance, combat and massivness, even more PVP, all those have no rival right now. BP is a great game, the best action combat, great class role and chill game, PVE focus. These 2 are FREE. Tarisland, I would play RAID or Night Crows before playing a crippled phone version of WoW. AOC is a scam, like The day before. WoW is 20 years old, p2w and p2play, both. FF14 is 12 years old, and expensive for what it gives, but it's alright if you can pay, still not really better than TL, it's subjective in this case. My advice ignore youtubers and register for TL beta to try it out. I played the Korean version, it's better than anything on the market.
As you know, I'm hyped for AOC, I'm looking forward to throne and Liberty. I'll probably play blue protocol but I'm not looking forward to it per say, the chrono odyssey one I'll give it a shot, but I'm not expecting much 🤔 and I don't play WOW or FF
Tilley, forget about AOC so you avoid a bad situation, the game will never come out, it's a clear scam. I can 100% guarantee you this. TL is the best and BP the second best game coming out. Try out those 2. They are not Ever quest 3 with UE5 but they are better than the rest of the games that exist right now or will be released later. Chrono is one I am interested on, but there is no info and it's 2025/2026. I think you will LOVE Throne and Liberty, it's a wonderful game if you like modern boss mechanics. Don't trust content creators, the big ones specially.
2:29 Yugioh… is still like that? Being able to play around protection effects and negates is part of the skill ceiling now, seeing your opppnent’s board and coming up with a plan to break it is part of the fun, it’s that on-the-fly thinking that makes this game such an intense experience. With a lot of “it was better in the old days” guys, I think their main problem is how Yugioh has become a more condensed experience, a single turn can have as much interaction as 6 turns in older formats, the anticipation, the intensity, it’s more compact, and if you’re not ready for it, then yeah, you’re gonna get steamrolled without knowing what’s going on. And yes, powercreep is a thing, it’s expected in any long-running game, but not expecting Yugioh to change and evolve via more power being added to the format is just asking for the game to die at that point, new cards is how Yugioh makes money, yknow, business food. Even then retro formats exist and are very well liked! Duelingbook and EDOPro are both incredible and free simulators if master duel is too time intensive, there’s legit options for everyone if you look hard enough.
I think it should be divided into different times we need to start this in local tournaments like if you wa na play original you cannot use anything after the first two episodes mabye like no pendulum link bs
You can't really build your own deck anymore either you have to choose one of the winning decks and kind of arrange how ya want if you don't want to lose all the time
I'm sorry to see hundreds of videos on how people fondly remember the time where Yu-Gi-Oh was actually fun. I myself stopped making content about it cuz it's a time capsule for me. However when I discovered the eternal formats I fell in love with the game again. And I keep getting the new toys for my blue eyes, but I don't go to tournaments anymore. It's honestly a waste of time. Because you either win the dice roll and set up an unbreakable board or try to crack your opponents unbreakable board. And you have to pay for it... I'd be better off buying sleeves or something else 😂
i can understand the complaiments about the new mechanics new decks and yeah to be honest i am also kinda bored to see the same decks in every duel but still atleast for me is funny to play, i use both fun and character-based decks and also some meta decks, so yeah atleast for me it still can be funny and very entertaining
No brother yugioh lost all skill after 2008. The game hasn't changed its just faster pace and more complicated because it's been 25 years we are adults now.
They should just put in different formats for people who want to play like old school slow format and they can release mew card specifically.for that format that is designed for slower play. Then there can be another format for like the modern new cards that is fast paced. Basically set rotation a pool of cards for each format. That way they would make more money and they just released cardsfor each specific format. They used to support formats for a little while but then they just forgot about them. Some people just don't like the old way the game is played. It's too slow for them so you shouldn't like force people to play like that. That's why formats is probably the best way to balance the game
That's what i do i just do it as a hobby not as a job lol... I do youtube cause i find it is fun and i like to share what i do with computers and my hobbies etc...
The game has sped up so fast…. It’s almost unplayable now. Yugioh was at its peak during the 5D’s era. I could stomach XYZ, pendulum summoning was where I was like “what are you doing Konami?” And link summoning broke me.
@@Niiipon mobile game visuals have improved quite a lot lately, just look at genshin impact. Cartoonish graphics are relatively light and can be run on pretty much any system. Hence the choice of blizzard releasing wow in a cartoonish style making the game accessible with minimum specs back in the day.
