It’s pretty sad watching this 10 years later. He mentions several projects that never end up getting made. His series with Michael Cera, the script he wrote for Jonze, etc. I am just holding out hope that Frank or Francis gets made after the popularity of I’m Thinking of Ending Things on Netflix. It’s such a shame that (in my opinion) the greatest living creative mind can’t make the projects he wants to.

It's amazing how raw honesty and vulnerability gets zero dislikes (so far). So refreshing for someone to be so honest and human. I really like how much time he takes to answer a question rather than just rattling something off to sound smart.
Sometimes I watch these interviews and look through the books once again and realize most of my inspiration really often comes from long walks and stimulating music. I often go back and forth between them and have to force myself to just write. Strange how writing something good never happens magically. But I do try to find the magic in letting my creativity and imagination flow without thinking too much. It's an unending loop. Fuck.
I always think Kaufman is going to be balding, overweight, ugly, shy, pretentious, inarticulate, and somewhat inhibited. Perception is greater than/more powerful than reality in my warped/muted cortex.

Fan hemsk jag känner mig när jag sitter här och är en mansgris och ett sexistiskt svin och näthatare som bara objektifierar kvinnor och deras kroppar. Jag skulle vilja älska med denna kvinna även fast hon troligtvis är 20 år äldre än mig
God so boring. Why do you Swedes call a small manor a castle?! There are no fortifications, no battlements and no castle like features at all. It was just one of hundreds of English merchants who came looking to make a quick buck. we have learnt to hate all that bureaucracy and pompous lifestyle that only money could buy. If you did not own enough land you were not allowed in their right circles. A bitter time, yet we will still embrace the so called art of that time. I think they had very little sense of what art was meant to be and basically copied what they sore around them. Paintings were done as forms of record, architecture was decorated to give a message of grandeur only and is often over done. Yet so was the message on entering every room; status and wealth only, nothing else. Even the woman talking had her nose in the air?!
You can't over analyze everything. Some times creativity is just spoken and expressed with out really any reason. Even if and when it ends up having a very meaningful result.
