Hi! I'm an independent Celtic & Soundtrack music composer. The main genres you'll find here are Celtic Folk, Epic Celtic, and Celtic Fusion. I also upload my 2D animation art occasionally. I want my channel to be a safe space, so no hate speech allowed in the comments (homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism...).
PS: If you want to use my music for your project, please contact me at the email below. Thanks!
This song had stuck in my ear for the whole week. I just wished, as said before, that the voice was a little louder. Otherwise, the text, the music, there is nothing to improve. Well done!
3:51 wow! so unexpected - I was sitting casually at the computer, and found myself moving (never happens). Thank you so much for your work, for moving people, for inspiring with your tune and putting us into the focus state. I also wanted to take a moment to really appreciate the videos, your focus state and the amazing results you produce! Keep going! You're awesome at this :)
Love this! Both the art and the music. My personal favorites are amber falls and they come at dusk. Ian has such a talent for calming the heart and other times exciting it. Thank you again Ian please keep it up, we need artists like you!
Nature has allways been a close friend even when i was little i would take the dead branches out of the living limbs and the trees allways gave me a place to rest this song shows just how nature take care of us more showing than the man made gods
I think medieval refers strictly to the music that comes from the medieval period, while Celtic refers to the music that comes from the Celtic cultures (like Irleand). However, I think nowadays these terms are rarely used in a strict way when we talk about music, but more like a vibe that we associate with one kind of sound or another. And I do that too, this medley for example has a medieval tune (Stella Splendens) and an Irish traditional tune (Cooley's Reel) 🤣 I'm fine with that!
I have heard this for some years now and then. Today was looking at the video and listening to the song again at umpteenth time. I am a man of 37, a doctor professor, teach in med school. And I wept specially near the end. It always moves me. There is something so moving about benevolent powers, compassion and love even in places most unlikely, and I have seen it time and time again. People can be bad, things can be bad, but even there good things often find their ways.
This brings back memories... My safe place was on a thick branch in a tree next to a pond. Since then, I have loved the golden sunlight shining through the leaves. So, yes, trees offer protection and safety. At least for a while.
