Hey there fellow maniacs welcome to my channel where I take you through my experiences as a webcomic artist as well as giving you some tips and tricks on how to make your own webcomics on Webtoon and Tapas. Working on implementing 2D and 3D animation on to this channel as well, Hope you will join me on my creative journey and stay awesome
Lol yeah it ain't that bad for me, there's already tools in blender that make it much easier now a days but it's only going to get easier from here, if I can clone myself like 5 times, the clone can do that sh!t 😆
Discover this site a year after this video was released and I have to say I really liked Dillyhub. To bad I cant download the app as it cant work in nln of my devices, but the site looks amazing!
Thank you for sharing your insight about this. I'm still working on my web comics and I was very excited to upload them in Webtoons; however, seeing some of my fave Creators getting their works end abruptly or completely dismissed that the Creator had no other choice but to upload in a different platform scares me. Plus there's competition. I did try to upload in Manga Plus Creators but got my work deleted because it was a fan comic. It had several restrictions especially with violence and stuff so I suggest you read their policy well. I haven't tried uploading my short story in there because it was dark and its content feel like it would be against their policy so... I still have to look out for a way for me to upload my work. I have a small fanbase - which mostly consists of Miraculous fandom not my OG works, but hopefully some do stay for my OG works - so it's going to be hard for me to upload in a less well known app. But we'll see how it goes. :)
Glad you got something out of the video, Actually as of recently it seems Globalcomix is a bit more active than it use to be, maybe check out that platform, recently I've tested out this site called TaddyInk as well and what they do is distribute your comic out to multiple platforms, So you only have to upload once and they do the rest, So far they only have 2 comic distribution platforms but looks like they will be taking on more this year, will most likely do a video on it once I figured it out
@@TherealChainsawmaniac Ooh, nice! Thanks for the tip! I'll keep that in mind! I hope I can remember to go back to this comment before I upload my work!
Lol not sure what I can help you with, mine ain't even that popular yet 😆 but what I can say is if you keep working at it and promote you webcomic well, you'll get there eventually, however if you wanna get there the easy way just copy what the most popular webtoons are doing but that's up to you 👍 wishing all the best man, stay awesome my guy
@sethxenofightersofficialx lol If you mean you want me to draw your comic for you, I appreciate the offer but I'm way too busy bra and I normally don't do commissions either but I'm pretty sure you can pay an artist of fiverr for some good work
My brother from a neighboring country, this is amazing! Im also trying to focus on my animations but ive still got a long way to go😅😅 I also checked out your webtoon. I like the first episode so far. Will read more Love from an Eswatini animator!
Hellz yeah man, you gotta pump out shot films lol always helps, as well as studying your favorite animators and learning their methods, hopefully my future vids will help you along the journey brother 👍
This is what I'm doing atm haha, but I went a step further by making my characters in 3D, the challenge was making them look alive and like my artstyle which people love so much, and I was afraid I'd lose that with 3D, cos we all know 3D always looks kinda lifeless when it comes to characters haha, but I figured out an easy-ish process to do it, it's really cool once you get stuck into it. You earned yourself a new sub man. Can't wait to have a look at your comics when I got some free time~
Thanks glad you enjoyed it, yeah I've come a long way from this video lol possible have 3 anime adaptations of my comics on the way, as well as a few more animation projects on the way 👍 so hopefully you enjoy the content my guy
@@TherealChainsawmaniac Just saw some of your stuff on instagram, it really has got so good xD (and I was thinking this old stuff was already awesome) I'll be following you closely for any new stuff when you have it.
As pertain to Webtoon's rights to modify or use USER POSTINGS, it's only limited to marketing and promotion as stated in clause 8 of their Terms of Use. As with other licenses, it SHOULD come with a specified finite expiration. But usually due to the nature of internet and marketing campaign, once the material is out there, it's hard to remove the ads. So having the expiration date tied to the live status of the work in the platform poses a huge risk to being sued by the creator. In short, it's just a clause to protect themselves, Webtoon could go rouge and promote work that had been removed from the platform but it would obviously do no good for them in any cases. I still think it's ok to post there, the most important thing is we get to maximize the reach to our ideal audiences. Have you thought about doing crowd fund?
I disagree. The license is a bundle of rights. Including the right to “reproduce, distribute, monetize, modify, and create derivative works” (among many others) your content “royalty-free, perpetually, and irrevocably.” Only the rights to modify and create derivative works are limited to advertisement and promotion. Meaning, all those other rights (publish, distribute, monetize, etc) can be done for any purpose. It is non exclusive, so we still have those rights as well as creators. But so do they. Forever and irrevocably. In theory, they could take your completed canvas comic and make it an original and give you nothing. They could publish a book of canvas comics and give the creators nothing. If that’s not what they intended, then they need to change the wording. I’m not an attorney so I could be wrong, but I used to read deeds and lending contracts for a living. And that’s what it says to me.
Yeah Unfortunately the way it is worded can be taken advantage of by Webtoon to possibly not only change but make their own content based on the creators work, And because of how it's worded they can basically make like entire episodes and say it's for the "sole purpose of marketing and promoting such comics and the Services" as stated. They need to specify the extent of their marketing, promoting as well as the services, otherwise they can change your entire comic which they have said they can "exploit your User Postings for the purposes of maintain and improving our Service", which again isn't specified what that constitutes.
I'll be using some of your productivity tips ♥ Although I think the thing that'd help speed up my art is using blender for references like you (especially for prospective and bg work) 😅
@@TherealChainsawmaniac Wow this was just 3 months. I would love to see what a video you make in a year looks like cause this was awesome and I'm also gonna have to check out your web comics to see how this whole story turns out
Bruhhh this is awesome! It really took three months? I've never seen how well Blender can be used to give indie projects a professional shine, it's so cool how the 3D and 2D fit together! And the cliffhanger -- I've gotta stop by the Webtoon to see where that goes, huh? Rad work right here, flex your expertise!!
Yeah would of been even better if I had more time lol , making a part 2 just to finish this film off and probably showing people how to animate using blender in the future 😎
my man u came with the SMOKE!!!! u killed it dude. So many moments actually was animated so well u should be proud of this!! u are the fucking goat my guy
