Your video production is fantastic. Sorry about your Triton experience though. I'm almost embarrassed to say my MR Triton has never had any issue in the 4 years I've had it. I have kept everything stock though because I am scared silly of voiding my warranty.
ye theres good n bad to owning an older car, u can do what ever mods, there is no warranty worry, but theres usually alot to fix. Glad to hear you enjoyed the video!
And then... The water turned red... The cells started bleeding hyperrealistic blood... and hyperrealistic John Maxis came out of the screen and spored all over my room!!!
@@Dragonio3 fair, It did make me look at some of the 4x4 groups in my area but eh. I dont know much about the staino ones but my safari one has been good. Not to bad to install, but still gotta work out a solution with the drain hole.
Surely you get somewhere and manage to get someone on board to design and build one! Would love to see this work as I'd like to build one for mine. Keep us updated!
when u buy a high km's ute they will usually have a few issues here n there. Dont worry, mostly this is bad luck with bad mechanics. But that model of triton (2.5l) is known for having an engine overheating issue (incorrect machining of the block I have heard) thankfully I do not have that with mine, its a hit and miss generally. Mine is a MN 2010 triton
@@Dragonio3yup i juat did some research and no offense but they are a hazard on wheels. Too many big issues for me. I won't be buying one now. I can see why they call mitsubishi, 'mitsushiti'
Wow, I'm sorry you had such a shitty experience with finding a decent mechanic. Can't help but wonder if they deliberately took you for a ride because you're a young woman. Hoping you have a whole lot of trouble free motoring moving forward 🙏
You did an awesome job, sister. Must be a common problem. My triton has the same leak as yours but not as bad yet. Will replace when doing timingbelt, water pump, and thermostat replacement. Keep up the great work. 👌👍😎🇦🇺🍻
Have you found the vibration through the steering? Just a suggestion check round out of your front disc rotors. Out of round faulty tire. Faulty front wheel bearing just a thought. Good luck 👍 ✌️😎🇦🇺🍻
I own a ml and mn an mr tritons did anyone in the suspension world tell you about 2 inch lift in tritons it is 1 inch in suspension 1 inch on tyres 2 inch lift the top control arm hits plus the shake on steering and check angle of cvs you really didn't do your homework i wanted a 2 inch lift when i went to efs and tough dog suspension both told me the same thing and showed me why you run a bit of aggressive tyre did you check legal specs because thatd not legal now i am a mechanic you have been riped off that luke fella is the only reputable mechanic in the whole ordeal for a tune the only place i goto is berrima diesel been around for over 60 years
difference between dobinsons and alot of others is that its a true 50mm lift (adjustable to 75mm or 3 inch), tough dog is 25mm and 20mm in MR tritons, well aware and have warned others about that. cv angles are almost flat. I have videos about why the steering wheel shakes happened, all came down to balance and a bad tyre from factory. With 3 inch suspension lift you will need after market upper control arms.
just find a trustworthy mechanic, look at who works on the vehicles when you walk into a mechanic shop. Always get secound opinion on the issues you face with the vehicle, and of-course lots of research.
Hi there, I was just searching for some answers on youtube for my 08 Triton to get it fixed, when one of your clips was mentioning about Luke Crane from Westcoast Triton which then made me feel that " I made the right choice by go with Luke Crane as my mechanic ". P.s : my 💙 triton will be going for a visit at Master Luke Crane place to get it fixed month. Informative, Humble in knowledge, Affordable & Trustworthy mate.
its based on a patrol or hilux bonnet scoop, I just made the most basic bonnet scoop. Only difference is the scoop is one with the rest of the bonnet, no seams, so technically like a custom bonnet.
@@Dragonio3yep you’re right, just did some googling and found them on other cars. The issue now is that I can’t find any smooth finishes for an mn triton so not sure if I’ll have to buy some and touch up on the fenders myself. 😂
