Why is nano-bomb a little awkward? I love having a little AOE once you learn how to lob it. Double ice is nice for Mythrix but otherwise I prefer this build in any situation.
I think you put it well with the learning of the lobs. Arcing shots are hard to land and predict which is a bit weird to adjust to, but once you have it down you are dealing more damage and more AOE, which is good.
some points are made, jesus christ what the fuck happened to the thunderslam, but at others it's just petty and nitpicky lol. mainly that if it is not outright a LEGAL requirement, the splash logo obviously should feature the people working on the game, just naturally and loading times to just boot up the game being half a minute long for you... just what. the fuck. that is dumb. what do you expect. what is your perspective. above all, what??? what else do you have to do with those additional, what are they, 10 seconds??? jfc. ain't no way. did no one else find how easy it is to get under the map, btw? first match me and my friends played, two of them playing merc, one found out you can kind of just dash through the floor. If anything that would be an oversight
I literally don't even know how to respond to someone who screams at me about being "nitpicky" and then instantly goes to nitpick about an ancient mechanic of noclipping. Did someone hurt you? Did you have a bad day?
I know this was like a mini-update of sorts but I’m a bit upset at the fact that this wasn’t an update to try slight balance changes into the game for the sake of experimentation. Gearbox becoming Hopoo 2 in terms of balancing will be upsetting and it feels like we’re going down that route already.
It's actually hard not to find the files if you do just the slightest bit of digging. Don't they have an entire AAA budget on their hands to ensure this kind of stuff doesn't happen?
Also, not necessarily a "bug", but Gearbox said they would get Multiplayer Eclipse on Console running in a future update over 6 months ago. Not a coding expert, but that doesnt sound particularly hard to do, especially since PC has already had it forever now. Just an example of Gearbox not delivering on a promise, at least not yet. Hope they bring it and bug fixes with the DLC.
Speaking of quality, one thing that is pretty minor but bothers me to no end is that in the void dlc and now in this update the devs completely gave up on making actually good teleporter music transitions (when you complete the teleporter it should transition into the end of the the soundtrack). Older soundtracks like hydrophobia; koppen AF; thermodynamic equilibrium have endings that sound good and fitting when the teleporter ends. Unlike teleporter soundtracks for newer stages from dlc: having fallen, it was blood; a boat made from a sheet of newspaper and now from the devotion update: i should build the man a statue (and antarctic oscillation as well actually because it got a transition with the dlc). When the teleporter is charged hese soundtracks just cut off or have a really low quality transition which sounds really bad and is unexpected from a game with such good music
The hell are you talking about, it does have transitions and they are good and fitting, please god tell me that people are not going to throw shit at this game over nothing.
I am no longer confident for the future of this game. Hopefully, this was just a rushed update cobbled together from the finished parts of the dlc to hold us over until the dlc.
yeah this update is just shit. put the fucking codes into the game, make me actually explore for those instead of just going on twitter, and the bugs are just dumb. plus they changed the lemurian spawn sound for no reason???? its just worse now. good job gearbox you're quickly on the path to running this shit into the ground
Well fortunately if seekers of the storm is garbage it's only a dlc so you dont have to have it or could just turn it off, if nothing else we can celebrate that
Whether or not awful changes like this will kill the game depends on how much Gearbox is willing to listen to the community, because it's obviously speaking out about the problems with this update. If they don't listen and they continue to not listen for the foreseeable future, this could get very bad. I really didn't want to sound so miserable but I just didn't expect that Gearbox would fuck up their FIRST update to the game, and such a simple one too. It doesn't indicate competence or care. But as I said, it all hinges on whether they listen or not. I can't say I think it's likely that they will though, not necessarily something with Gearbox in particular, I just don't think game companies are likely to listen to their playerbase unless they're indie.
The intro having a Gearbox logo as an example of a lack of quality assurance is ridiculous. The loading times is exactly the same as before for me. The only actual problem shown in this video is thunderslam being too loud.
Honestly, I like the void fields change. It was weird with it not having stopped time when I believe all other hidden realms did. Plus, it’s not as good as it may seem. You still have to go through void fields, guys. It isn’t a free red item. If you want a free red, stack regen scrap and go to lunar shops, it’s way more broken than one red per game in a one-time stage that gets increasingly difficult as it progresses and has DOT effects outside of 9 specific areas.
No one does void fields for the red item lol you're misunderstanding this. Experienced players do void fields specifically for the loot that spawns like it would on a normal stage, like the chests and printers. Many did it even with the timer not stopping because if you could resist or outheal the damage from the void it was worth it. If it could already be worth it before, imagine how OP it is now. Also "stack regen scrap" lol what the guy above me said, you're a command player aren't you? Stacking regen scrap isn't exactly plausible on a non-loop run because regen scrap printers cannot spawn. (And on a loop run who the hell cares about anything you're immortal anyways)
@@Topunito I mean...I do the void fields for the legendary item. Alongside all the void vents, but the legendary item is certainly a motivator. I do think that the change makes void fields a lot easier then it was before, that's not really up for debate at all.
out of everything in the update, the thing that annoyed me the most were the patch notes. a full detailed rundown of everything added, but when it came to the bug fixes they most of them were so vague (the command one was the only one that actually explained what was fixed) (even still they only listed *4 bugs* they fixed. havent we been promised a captains beacon stage 1 fix over a year ago please fix the guy). "Chest, Firework and Squid Turret exploit fixed" "Demons and Crabs challenge unlocks normally" what did they actually fix??? what was the issue thats been plaguing the game for so long that they finally fixed im curious please tell me. and somehow the worst one was "Forgive Me Please equipment no longer triggers on kill effect continuously" you know that makes it sound like you removed the gimmick of the item??? please plesae please write your patch notes better for bugfixes (and anything in general) even hopoo was better at this maybe its juuust me maybe imm the crazy one but FUCK me these patch notes suck. literally only there to point at NEW COOL THING and not eww smelly bugs. new map, artifacts and chris music are cool tho, also was completely free so maybe i need to go beyond touching grass and start eating it
im sorry but i just wanna say I KNEW stuff like this would happen when gearbox took over risk of rain. Gearbox is a awful company that kills most things it touches, can we stop pretending they arent?

my game is now launching for a 3 minute, if not more, it was a problem before update but it was minute, but now it's just crazy, my pc suits all requirements but still sthis is crazy, I real hopr that they will fix that
I haven't gotten the increased loading times luckily. I do really like this update but it is kind of a mess with the bugs and even patch notes being off. I just hope they learn from this and don't butcher the dlc (at the very least the new music is really good and the prisoner skin is really nice)
Originally it was stopped, but in an update they added the timer and its considered a stage. Honestly prefer it being stopped again, even if it is a bug. The loot is really only ok for the like 10 minutes added to the timer.
@@ezethealconswell But the loot on void fields has been increased since the last time it stopped the timer so they buffed it so much, it was good before but with the extra loot it's got to be busted
@@nyancart6246 Nah it was dogshit until this change. Literally no reason to ever risk going there with the timer going and getting fucked by a tougher times + syringe + tesla coil combo or something. Glad it's back. That said... It's literally the only good change in this update lmfao
i was really excited to go and explore to find the new artifact codes. a lot of the old ones were so cleverly hidden. but i was so disappointed hearing these 2 were... not even in the game??? what??
yeah I was made a fool for searching for like 2 hours only to find they were locked outside of the game. Not really cool for in game content to be locked behind twitter, youtube promotions, and later on wikis. I feel that kind of stuff is fine for teasing future content, but these are two entirely different things.
