Happy Sabbath to all my brothers n sisters in Christ at South Brisbane Church. May the Good Lord continue to bless you Pastor Gideon and servants of God. Am very blessed from God's word today. Thank you Lord 🙏🙏✝️
There was a time when you could distinguish a Seventh-day Adventist (especially a minister) from other denominations by their dress code. Wearing wedding bands "may be plain, but they are useless, and the wearing of them" are a "wrong influence" (4T p. 630). As Adventists, it would be a blessing to the world if we followed the divine injunction found in 1 Peter 3:3-5.
Jesus love is absolutely priceless! When we meditate on all the good things God had done for us we can see just how rich we are. Thank you for posting, may our good Lord continue to bless you 🙏🏾✝️
@1:16:24..."We don't wanna offend people, but we'll find it okay to offend God". I like hearing Darryl's sermons. He "hits the nail on the head"; *speaking the truth* .
Hello, this is Jonas I'm your Adventist brother. I live in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I am a worship officiant and professional pianist 🎹 during the holy hours of sabbatical worship. I am planning a trip to Australia and want nothing more than the love and fellowship of my 7th day Adventist family once I get there, Jesus is coming back soon.
@10:42...Amen! Before we petition the throne of God, we should "please take an attitude of prayer" *(Psalm 46:10/Habakkuk **2:20**/Hebrews 12:28,29)* .
I enjoy listening to this pastor week after week. I admire his enthusiasm. If l were in Australia, l would make it a point to visit his church. God bless!
Hi MrCJ-qz9dl. I also enjoyed this sermon. The punchline for the story about the man and the bear - is that the bear got his meal by eating the man - and the man had a fur coat around him because he was inside the bear. The bear definitely came out the winner!
@52:32..."l have met some very _self-righteous, judgmental, unloving_ Adventists, who are strict health reformers. I regret that dear friends... because they have missed the boat entirely. Because the whole goal of everything that we do is to make you and me more like Jesus. 'By this shall all men know', Jesus said, 'that you are My disciples' " [John 13:35]. Sad, but true, Dr. Lindsay. Some of the rudest Adventists l've encountered were supposedly *EGW* advocates; not realizing that she stated, *"Of all the people in the world, reformers should be the most unselfish, the most kind, the most courteous" (CD p. 460)* .
@56:04...True, Pastor! We should worship God with "reverence and godly fear" (Hebrews 12 12:28); not allow false doctrines of other churches, which have already "crept in" (Jude 4). We must "earnestly contend for the faith" (verse 3).
Wonderful to witness God's powerful Grace in action! Miracles still do happen and thanks be to Yeshua for calling Jenny & Bradley to Him. Keep being dependant on our heavenly Father for His guidance. Today You have shared greatly with us. Be blessed and continue to love & forgive. Thankyou.
Psalm 23; The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea' though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For thou art with me, Thy rod and staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!
Thank you to our elders, deacons, and our ladies of the church that all work together so faithfully, and diligently to bring Glory to our Lord God in worship and song on this Sabbath day of the Lord, and a special day of remembrance for our Fallen Brave in battle against tyranny for our Lord God, with the remarkable display in tribute. A special thank you to Pastor Lena for the message on remembrance this morning, Thank You, it was so refreshing. As always, a big thank you to our ever-faithful Korean Church and the ladies involved in cooking, and providing another delicious sabbath meal, Thank You. A very big Thank You, to all of the ladies of our church, and everyone else involved in the progressive dinner last night, I enjoyed myself in fellowship 'to no end' 🤗 as I believe everyone present did also. Elder Daryll, Brother you know all I can say is Hallelujah Amen for your messages of late to wake us from our slumber, a call to sound the 'Trumpet of God' Amen!
