What you're picking up on in my case is at least 2 different people being manipulated by the same entity/consciousness cluster/trickster. The wolf is my symbol for one person i had to let go of. I'm pretty sure they have Multiple Personality Disorder and the other's symbol is lion. I broke up with the narcissist 7 months ago and they were still trying to manipulate me a few weeks ago. I have a RU-vid channel, so i can't completely dissappear from their lives if they don't have the discipline to let me go. The entity is reasonably strong and had a whole group of us under their influence a while back. Its slippery, and tricky and not fun, but i honour it because it's testing my strength and resolve.
