I know it’s silly to make the “why is no one talking about…” but I’ve gone through so many comments and can’t find one that mentions the fact the Angel on Marcy’s shoulder is their mom….
@@s.r.vietnamI just find it interesting that even though it’s shown that she loves her mother and would do anything to please her, she even throws her at the wall to ignore her!!! It’s like an adult telling a child “you don’t know what you want”…
actually interesting, didn't notice that part. maybe she was just being emotional and thrown away that „what would your mother say if she saw you” thought, and only thought and not mother herself. or she decided to do as her intrusive (devil) side wants and ignore what her mother's side would be sinse shes gone and its easier to take bad chain of thought. or she copes about emotional burnout with agression. dk
and the cat has excellent diplomacy skills: Cat: -Can I get a job as a hairdresser? Employer: -Yes, no question Cat: -Bartender, pour me a drink Bartender: -You're welcome :3 Cat: -Shut up. little girl: -ok x)
I really appreciate the attention to detail in this. 0:14 There are multiple details that prove that the rabbit in Darcy's vision is Marcy. Marcy has a rabbit plush in the corner of her room, a rabbit clock, and a rabbit onesie, which is also the last thing in her closet. Darcy changes into her cat onesie when she enters, but Marcy doesn't. This could represent how Marcy feels the need to withdraw her connection from her sister, since she's afraid she might get hurt again after her mother's death. We can also see a picture of her mother with a tennis racket, implying that her mother was a tennis player too. I feel like Marcy wants to make her mother proud by pursuing tennis like her. When we enter Darcy's room, we see how it's unlike Marcy's. Marcy's room has all of her trophies and medals on display, however, Darcy doesn't put them on display, maybe because she doesn't perceive them as great accomplishments. We can also see that Darcy has less trophies than Marcy, and I think it's because she doesn't feel that motivation to make her mother proud like Marcy does. In the bottom right corner, there's a book about DIY portals, so Darcy can probably use it as a form of escapism from her stressful life. The line Darcy says at 3:52 proves this true.
