The Majority of these videos are narrated by myself.
Have you ever come across a certain quote, whether it be from a book, a movie, a conversation or an experience, that completely altered the course of your life?
Each quote you read has been hand picked by myself. I find them through my own books and through research on the internet.
I feel sharing this wisdom and perspective can be a way of showing my gratitude to the world for the knowledge and experiences that I have been fortunate enough to come across. It has given me a sense of fulfillment and purpose to know that I might be making a positive difference in the lives of others by sharing what I have accumulated. Thank you so much for being here.

Here's a couple of notes worth mentioning for the listener: Thomas the apostle migrated to India to spread the gospel there in the first century around 52 AD and he was martyred there around 72 AD. So he lived there in India for 20 years after the time of Christ. The alleged 'gospel of Thomas' was written in the mid 2nd century in the midst of a wave of gnosticism heresy going around and it was discovered in Egypt, somewhere that the apostle Thomas didn't live or preach. So it's safe to say that it is an absolute fact that there is no way the apostle Thomas could have written it or taught it. Gnosticism was a heresy that barely began in the end of the 1st Century in the Mediterranean area, probably after Thomas had already suffered martyrdom, and remember the aforementioned fact that he had lived and died in India, not the Mediterranean. This written work of gnosticism was a heresy that the apostolic fathers of the early church protested and prevented the spread of in early Christianity. an original apostle would have never taught it. Thomas actually is believed to have founded seven churches/communities in India, much as the traditional churches of the original apostolic tradition. Thomas the apostle didn't teach gnosticism in the Mediterranean, he spread the true gospel of Christ to India, that is a fact of history. This alleged book is definitely a fake/forgery, I wouldn't waste my time taking it seriously or listening to it. It's important to know history. Thomas was an apostle, a preacher, a bishop, and a martyr all in the name of Christ. He was not of the gnostic sect. Don't let history be forgotten or lost in this wave of 'new age Christianity'...
I have been reading the Gospel of Thomas for a couple of years now. I have notes and questions written out regarding each one. As I was typing all these out to share, I was really able to take them all in and there are many that I couldn't make sense out of but now I can. Then there are the ones towards the end of the video (example 105) that I can't get a handle on and I am wondering if they are just lost in translation?? That is the only way it makes sense to me. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Wow, you pick the best quotes ! They all speak to me! ❤ Being alive, means movement. Although I’m moving slow in my journey of life, but every step of the way I feel alive.. especially knowing that I’m doing something for myself, my future and the future of those I care about. I remember for the longest time I was living my life on auto pilot. I wake up, go to work, go home, eat, scroll through the phone, then sleep. In bed again and up doing the same thing … again and again and again. Now with a goal in mind, every day I am making small steps towards a brighter future. It’s much more fulfilling even though I’m not where I want to be yet. Life is all about the journey, not the destination. Thanks so much for putting the time to create this video. I love that you added such a beautiful voiceover ❤. It’s nice to wake up to these videos.
@AmyChau0917 aw thank you. It's my own voice. I didn't love it but it'd getting better hahah! I'm leaning to ignore it. My next video is in the making so hopefully I'll be done soon. The voice overs usually take a bit longer. What did you think of my intro?
Yes, I knew it was your voice since the last video. I smiled inside, knowing that you took the step to share your voice with the world. Cheers to you! 🎉 The intro is awesome. It ignited curiosity and intrigued me, making me want to find out why you made the statement at the beginning. We’re growing together. I’m enjoying the progress in each new video you post. ❤
The quotes and the music with it is lovely. I love how the music is gentle yet dramatic at the same time and goes well with love as the topic. ❤ Lovely voiceover as well 😉
I'm listening to this right now. I'm having a bad day so far and trying to feel peace and calm inside. I hate that I couldn't control my feelings today and raised my voice.
I'm sorry you feel that way. You are doing the right thing :) Sometimes when I am laying down and thinking, I really do talk to my heart and not just think. It's like having a best friend that listens. The head, it just argues with me when I talk to it. Not my heart tho. Sometimes we don't recognize the best friend we have and have had all along. :) <3
@@QuotablePerspective I’m trying to process your advice. I feel calm when I listen to instrumental music. Lets seee … what would my heart tell me- right now I just feel like I gotta focus on myself and remind myself I gotta keep moving. Yesterday I took the time to try to get some over things, remind myself don’t be distracted or affected by certain things because it’s slowing me down. I didn’t work on my schedule routine that I set for myself last week on google calendar. I shouldn’t let emotions distract me. Like I know I would get over it but I let those emotions take over yesterday and wasted my day. Well, I did make crevice for Phil because he loves it, and I went to the market unschedule to get groceries because Phil said he wants beef (I’ve been avoiding buying beef because they’re expensive and working on squeezing every dollar.) When I do things for Phil, I feel calm because I’m putting love into it. Do you feel that way, like for example you’re so mad but when you do something for someone even if they’re the one that upset you, you feel calm inside ? lol does that even make sense? I wonder if that what you mean by talk to our heart ?
Thanks. It actually took me a week to make the sound for that video. I feel it came out well too. I am currently working on another one. It will be while yet though.
@@QuotablePerspective looking forward to it! Thanks so much for sharing a part of you with us. I will try meditation. I used to go temple when I was younger and the monk would ask us to meditate but as a kid, I didn’t really take it seriously.
If you would like to start practicing meditation, I have created a video with some Quotable Perspective from Joe Dispenza as to why it is important to practice meditation. I have also added a few affirmations to get you on your way. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NOtFrTePCmE.html
Here are some key moments to help you navigate through this video. 0:00 Start of Narrator and Joe Dispenza Quotes 1:48 Start of Meditation & Music 2:05 Start of I AM affirmations 5:00 End of Narrator, only music remaining for meditation
I’ve already made a lot of changes since almost 3 years ago but still it’s not enough to get me where I want. I love these quotes and the music is soothing but at the same time dramatic and voiceover helps remind still more changes are needed. As I sit here working my day job listening to this video, I am silently processing and thinking what new steps to take.
I think the statement comes from a perspective of getting along with people in a general everyday relationship conflicts or drama, not wars against other countries.
Conflict is unavoidable as long as there are those that would seek it with you. To not interact with conflict is willful ignorance to the world around you on the greatest scale possible, and only through conflict can ideas be shared and spread, as there is an inherent conflict every single intelligent being must face against their own ignorance in order to learn. If harmony is being so zen and one with nature you don't ever need to learn again, you can count me out of that arrogance. Coincidentally, my entire point there was that's an extremely arrogant thing to say anyways. You chide me for interacting with conflict as you introduce it by exclaiming there are people out there that are the problem and not even proposing them a solution, ensuring that someone somewhere is being targeted by you in conflict. Either this is clickbait or you're a munted flower crown girl.
I totally disagree 😒. Life is full of conflicts that we need to be strong enough to navigate ourselves through in a healthy way. (I personally didn't know how to do that and I recently lost a great woman because of that.) Also, doing nothing can equally be the right answer.
Now that I am older and I can stop and think back about a lot of things - I do believe that my grandmother was very stoic in nature. We always viewed her as mean and hard because she grew up in a very unhappy situation and really had to make it on her own since she could remember. However, she really had this type of mentality. One of her favorite things to tell me was - "Do not pay on a note (that was what they called mortgages back then) that doesn't belong to you. " every time I felt unhappy and opened up to her. It was like she just didn't have time for us or empathy but really, she said some very valuable things! So my advice is to listen, consider what our elders have said or are saying and be mindful.
