The 3-day invasion being on year 3 proves Russia to be a hoax. No air defence over Moscow. No problem to attack Russia over the border. Could a drone be used as a laser designator for a JDAM? If so could that not expand the range of laser guided JDAMs in high gps spoofing environments. You could setup a laser pathway with more or one drones guiding a muntion to targets that have been spotted by drones without risking high value delivery systems. The bomb could be dropped from a higher altitude and guided by low cost, low cross section cardboard plane uavs into difficult to attack targets well out of electronic countermeasure range. Glide bombs are very difficult to stop being able to guide one in like that would give someone Aegis like capabilities using a targeting system that is not likely to be jammed or affected by GPS interference / jamming. Spotting drones could be used for course corrections.
