Welcome to my channel. I am Kat, a full time reseller in North Florida. I will share thrifting, garage sale, flea market and estate sales videos to show you what I find!
Hi Kat! I’m happy to hear you all fared well during the hurricane. I was so impressed that you managed to keep everything going during the power outage!! I noticed a couple of older catalogs that you missed. They can bring good money depending on the year. The Christmas ones from my childhood(60’s) are the best!
I think that is Sunbonnet Sue, not Holly Hobbie? I’m thinking the Mary Hadley is A Very Happy Anniversary? I’m not familiar with Mary Hadley, thanks for calling her to our attention, will do more research.
So happy you’re back! My husband wants to start watching videos so I sent him this one to start with…he likes to go sourcing with me and wants to learn! I see a lot of handcrafted items but never pick them up unless it’s needlepoint or cross stitch, because I didn’t know if there would be much interest. I’d like to start giving them loving new homes!
I like your videos on both your channels. As a crafter I really appreciate that you value handmade items! Not many people realize how long it takes to make an item or the cost of supplies.
I was shocked to see how much cypress knees sell for. Plain does well and hand painted even better. I found one that was made into a Santa and the average was selling for $75-$100.
Next time I am down your way, I will look for the Suwannee Thrift. 😊 Looked like a pretty good size store to plunder in and you found some good items. 😊 Go Gators !!
You need to go back and get the pillow you showed at the beginning of the video you said would bring $40-$70. There was another one just like it on tbe shelf below.
I think it's "A Very Happy Anniversary" So glad you are back! I'v missed your videos. Has eBay quit letting us see what other's have sold? I always like to check to see has been selling, but the past week, I haven't been able too.
I sold some license plates only one time - I got so many questions if I would be able to do the transfer form from dmv, then finally sold them and they decided they didn't want them cause it would cost too much to get them on to their car - BUT they never actually returned them so eBay had me keep my money 😀 - just decided I didn't want to go down that road again. Didn't know about the 3 year thing though and now I am trying to remember how many years back mine were from - maybe that was the issue? I am pretty sure it was close to that at least.
At the 3:18 mark, on the wall looks like an older picture. Has (I think) tiger wood frame and possibly bubble glass front? I couldn’t get a good look. I have done well with some of those as well. Depends on the subject matter and condition.
just love to shop with you Kat,,, I have been getting out more trying to relearn walking as well not having panic/anxiety attacks being in public,, thanks for your shopping videos they help me want to be a regular person pre surgery,,,
I'm happy to help. I'm not a fan of crowds myself. This store luckily majority of the time I was the only one shopping. I think I saw 3 others the whole time I was there which was nice
@@katstreasurehunting the only “thrifting” I can do anymore is through you tube videos. I enjoy the visual treasure hunt. I have so much useless (useful?) info in my head that I want to share it so others can benefit! Too bad you cant stream live so I can watch and remark in real time. 😂
@@katstreasurehuntingI hope you enjoy it . ❤ I just sold one of the vintage wool blankets earlier today. It definitely was a good trip and thanks for the tips on wearing the go pro necklace holder 😂
So many different and fun things. I think the Italian purse could be Fiorenzi, from the 50's or 60's. I hope you do a Cloisonné video in your other channel, such beautiful art, but it's really hard to figure out which is Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc. Thanks again for sharing, your effort is always appreciated it.
Isnt it crazy how those 80's jacquard pillows are selling? Depends on design but they are always over $20 and can go for $100's. That larger basket with the branch handles may have been worth $20. If it was handmade Id probably grab it. Baskets are having a moment. I saw that Hadley plate and mentally screamed at you! Obviously, you heard me, lol. So happy youre back, Kat. Glad you are over the worst of all thats been happening. My sister was just diagnosed with a very rare muscle wasting disease and its turned our lives upside down so quickly. Life can turn on a dime so lets make the most of it while we can. Hope you bring Dalton with you next trip, miss seeing him too♥️
Since you said they sell so well I tried to look them up, but I couldn’t find anything that sold. What would you search for if you were researching 80s jacquard pillows. I would like to learn more about that.
Great haul, Kat! The fabric doll on the embroidery hoop that you thought might be Holly Hobbie is actually Sunbonnet Sue, a popular vintage quilt block design from back in the day.
Hi Kat, I go to Suwanne Thrift also. They are so kind and they're prices a real good. Made me smile when I seen you also shop there. I live in Dixie County.
