For longer than I can remember I have been fascinated by garbage trucks of all kinds. I grew up watching City of San Diego Environmental Services Department (ESD) pass by my house every week. My first clear memory of a garbage truck was an old ESD Heil Rapid Rail on a CCC COE cab/chasis. I have been documenting the trucks I see on video or pictures to share with other enthusiasts and kids who have the same passion of the refuse industry. Some of you may ask if I have a favorite truck and the answer to that would be yes! 306 from ESD is my favorite truck since it has always stood out to me from the rest with its unique features and different design after its fire.
Uploads are 2nd and 4th Fridays each month at 3:06PM PT
@@trashman306 wow 322 doing trash. That's a first ive heard of that. 322 has almost always done nothing but recycling for as long as it's been with San Diego. I did not see 1 single esd truck today as I was not home almost all day.
@@blazeginsberg7278 322 has subbed on my trash a few times around 2018-2019. What trucks did it look like came? I think 432 did recycling across the street from me because he then came and helped 439 finish up around 3:40
@@trashman306 378 trash 428 recycling. Missed oragincs which I assume was 458. I saw 105504 and 105506 of wm in the anatres. 342 on his usual route. A diesel acx in the area doing recycling 418 driving past utc. And 443 on Carmel Valley road
@@trashman306 378 trash usual driver, 408 recycling with a different guy then who I have been getting. Missed greens although it was likely to have been 458
That was 305 with a sub. Those Blink cameras do not work very well at all. Not sure why 328 is down this time. I also like seeing the rapid rails do trash.
304 trash and 443 organics both regular drivers. 314 is down because it got a hole with is leaking trash and liquid from the hopper. I also caught 306 today on trash one route over from me
314 trash, 443 organics, and 382 recycling all regular drivers except that 382 blew a hydraulic line or something right before my street so I'm still waiting on it
305 sub trash, 443 organics usual guy, and no show recycling in my neighborhood again for second time in a row. 356 with a sub did the rest of the route and finished that around 2 and never came back to my area.
@@blazeginsberg7278 397 sub trash, 443 usual grouch organics, and recycling is a no show. Saw 401 on recycling across the street and I think I saw 328 in 364 as well
406 Has Always Stood Out To Me, Since it Not Quite Like The Usual Ones, So You Actually Hear It Coming. Awesome Video. Today I Found 811-146 on Greens, 832-012 on Trash, 815-450 on Trash And Strangely 815-347 On Greens.
@@trashman306 I got the 328 guy in 364 today for trash. He was having some issues with the arm 4 a minute. It was the 1st time he's been to my house since October last year. It's also the 1st time I've gotten 364 on trash since 2020. I missed greens
@@blazeginsberg7278 When I talked to him in December he said he might try to snag 350 next time it's available such as if and when my driver gets 304 back or gets a new truck
443 organics usual guy. Trash and recycling were both no show for me but finished most of the rest of the route. Trash was 426 with a sub who I’ve never seen and recycling was my regular guy in 350 since 382 broke this morning and my trash guy is out. The 328 guy was in 373 today and 408 did recycling across the street. Wonder what’ll show up tomorrow
@@blazeginsberg7278 I thought this was pretty normal since I sometimes get 366 as a spare for trash. It normally does trash in Rancho Bernardo on Tuesdays as far as I know. No clue what 447 normally does or where it works
@@trashman306 378 trash 454 recycling. I saw 314 doing trash adjacent to the Del Mar Trails Carmel Park area. And I also saw EDCOs rotos going east on I-56
